secret of mana came out before this lol
shadow and gogo now that would be a good one
awesome review
HOLY MOTHERFUCK THIS AINT FF3!
@Aeriths my favs are 4,5 and 6 my fav is fav but my fav ff character is shadow because shadows the man
@vineyardkid it’s the most broken easy ff of the early games thanx to quick/ultima combo and the masterscroll relic being among the most notable of this, but the story is awesome i love it!!!
This review was very enjoyable. You made it very clear that this was your opinion, but at the same time really made me want to download the game. Thanks for the awesome review.
FINALLY the North American release it’s about time Nintendo
Sorry to be all nerdtastic, but in the cutscene section they have been seen, the Soldiers are seen (in several variations) throughout the game, and the environment is a darker version of the Mansion Fire in the town Realm and Stratego live in… sorry had to nerd rage for a sec >_< But great review and this is still my fav FF next to VII
=O I didnt know VI was on Wii! *downloads*
@xShadowBlitzx
LOVED me some Gogo.
is this game hard ???
in Europe its out on the play station network so downloading it
@TheCovertKid I suggest you just get both
@animefreak4453 and in the video, he also said it there.
@robloxfan459 If i remember correctly as soon as shadow appears the clock ends and you jump automatically.
@xShadowBlitzx sweet. one final thing and if im annoying the FK out of you ill leave you alone XD. i wait until 0:05 onthe clock when it collapes (thats as far as i know) and i save shadow. does it ask you if yo want to jump or does it make you jump automaticly. i just dont want to have to reload a save just before i do it so i lose shadow.l after this ill leave you alone if im bugging you.
@robloxfan459 After kefka kills Leo there then all you have to do is head to the floating continent and then you are in the second half of the game.
@xShadowBlitzx wow that was fast. anyway, if i was after kefka fked up the mage warriors town (like JUST after). how close am i to ending act 1?
@TheCovertKid not a hard choice. final fantasy 6 had 14 characters, a deep story, and such. and secret of mana had a AWSOME battle system, a fairly detailed story, some of the best battle music, and 3 different characters. i like both games equally (chronotrigger is the superior to both however). if you like live action rpg’s with 3 unique characters, secret of mana is superior. if you like jrpgs and the final fantasy series, 6 is a good choice as well, you get a good bang for ur buck both ways.
@robloxfan459 get the sword, the only upside to Ragnarok is ultima but since paladin shield learns you it AND is a good shield the sword is the better choice.
@xShadowBlitzx ugh…anyway, should i choose the esper ragnarok or the sword ragnarok? i heard ultima is learnable other ways, and the only way to get another ragnarok is to steal it from one of the forms of kefka in the final fight. i personally, im leaning towards the sword, as that can be traded for the illumina, and the paladin shield (while a fking pain to get) is another option for ultima.
not sure whether to get this, or secret of mana
@robloxfan459 Whereas for a completionist like me i searched every single island and when i saw that the certain enemy on gogo’s island only had one more in saved and let it do it to see i was brought into a dungeon. Square never said optional characters were easy to find.
@xShadowBlitzx true. they DID hid gogo preety well. if i hadent read the wiki i would never know how to get him. (still on the world of balance before apocolypes, thats ALL i know so far dont spoil anything if possible. i skipped the synopsis while vewing the page.)
I saw a “factory sealed” copy of Killer Instinct for the SNES today at a local game shop for $29.99. I don’t know anything about factory seals other than to be extremely suspicious of them. Assuming it’s legit, is that a good price? I’ve never played KI otherwise I might have considered it.
Great stuff Jason. Came over here to check out your review after listening to the latest podcast.
Intro song please?
@briancollazo46 yup i hear you the SNES version is better.
my father had the almost everything but the arcades, t shirt. XD
And when it came out on the snes my best friend bought it and and i started playing it and wow was it harder than the arcade version but i loved that version bc it had thunder which was one of my favorites besides fulgore and spinal.
i remember this game came out before the n64 bc when i was real young about 6 i started into bowling and at the bowling i went to to play in my league they had a few arcade games there and this one was there i played it the first time but hated it but started to watch other people play it and i ask them how did u do that or this for combos u know and they would tell me but i could never figure out the finishing moves
I wish I had as badass of a life as you’ve had lmao!
The Killer Kuts CD was also available on the Nintendo Power Store, and Killer Kuts 2, the soundtrack for Killer Instinct 2, was also available.
I love this game i’ve been a HUGE fan of the KI series I loved one and II is awesome as well it looks like you and i are big fans of the killer instinct series i have one copy of the SNES version and i still have the killer Cuts CD too
hey guys if you want play the arcade version you can down arcade emulator mame and killer instinct arcade.
00:26. Ant and Dec!!!?? They’re like a virus.
they should bring back KI arcade for xbla
@TheEMUreview Have you played the gameboy version it is really good and one of the best portable fighting games !
One more thing in a retro store near me they have an arcade cabinet for 8000 crowns / 800 euros should i save some money and get it ? How much did you pay for yours?
0:30 thats what my room looks like
lol. The Emulator review.
killerinstinctonline are horrible. They don’t know we rock KI1 & 2 on the net. They want to have zsnesw and ..Ultra64 emulators up for download ? Mupen64 by the way off goldeneyeonline(dot)com for a ton of sessions with a ton of roms. Syncing is no issue.
They D0 have MAME there but it says “MAME Program Download”. How clear is that shit. They need HKaillera.
Inredible vid! Hope to see the loyal Rare fans purchase any future Rare titles. Who knows, they might even release a new KI :O
My jaw dropped when I saw all the KI stuff you had
@TheEMUreview I know the arcade version is expensive but is still an amazing game
Thx for this video, very awsome. I never played a killer instinct before, but i must say, because of your review i must do that
5 stars
@johneymute
Thank you for mentioning that… I used to spend hours & hours playing that version of KI… Both on my “Play it Loud” Clear Game Boy & my Super Game Boy at home… (Along with it’s big brother on the SNES of course)
RARE back in the day used to put such love & attention into EVERY port of every game that they stamped there name on & KI on the Game Boy was no exception to that…
It had it’s own hidden combo loops & the ability to play on both hidden stages & as the final boss…
i looked on the ki site but no gameboy version was found, yes it,s extreamly down sampled, but it,s amezing for one 8bit.
about that dance part i wisch they also dit the moonwalk, unless rare was afraid to get issues with mj haha lol.
i own the snes version of ki too and it,s still amezing.
@curtiscdragon Hey there, you can check out my remix right here on youtube! I have the link to download it in this videos description as well! Thanks for your comments man I really appreciate it, glad you like this episode!
Yo bro that was incredible video. I am a huge ki fan. I have both versions and 2 cds. Say my e-mail is curtiscdragon@yahoo.com. I would love to here your remixed song. I hate that rare jacked up the chef thunder theme on the cd so if you could do the them from the game music that would be great. preciate it bro holla at ya lata………..!!!!
I love this game, I wish Nintendo got the rights back
