Hello and welcome to my Let’s Play of SimCity for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This will not be simply a normal playthrough, as I will be utilizing the infinite money cheat (which will be seen in the next video). I chose to do this not because the main game is too difficult, but simply to move the game along faster. In a normal playthrough, there would be a lot of waiting around and it would run the risk of getting boring quickly. With this, there should be a faster progression through the ranks. In this video, Izoold, the soon-to-be industrial giant of the world, is founded and its first residents begin to migrate in. Dr. Wright, the city-designing extrodinaire, will be here to help with our process and, although our city is small now, it won’t be for long… Enjoy!

Probably best that I limit any future playthrough videos to hacks or really difficult levels in the original game. Well, the level “Be Prepared” from The Lion King on the SNES certainly qualifies for the second category… In my opinion – and I wouldn’t be surprised if others share it too – is the most difficult level in the entire game. Most people probably remember that most of the levels in this game are on the hard side anyway, but none of them compare to this one. Be Prepared never gives you any breathers. The whole level is full of these bats that hang on you and can be a bit of a pain to hit, hyenas and jaguars that need to be hit multiple times to defeat while the bats bother you. Lava geysers and lava drops that force you to time your advance just right, riding across the lava on a tiny platform while bats harass you, a rolling rock that you must outrun perfectly, and the weird lava geyser/falling rock segment at the end that probably confuses a lot of new players. If this level was actually in the movie, it would have been an hour longer. I usually like to make playthrough videos have my characters never getting hit, but I had to make an exception with this one. I challenge anyone to play through this level without getting hit ONCE! NOTE: If there are any secrets in this level that I missed out on, please say so. I think I missed one, which is a Circle of Life continue thats hidden in a seemingly inaccessible part of the hidden passage where I got the blue …
