Spider Man 4 Trailer

Spider Man 4 Trailer

I’m sure many of you Spidey fans are wondering about the Spider Man 4 trailer. Well it’s way too early to say anything about the actual trailer since the movie is just getting started, but we’ve got some news about what could possibly be happening in the new film.

A quick Google search brought up a bunch of results about the new Spiderman movie (and by the time you read this, I imagine some additional material by this author will be available for you to read as well). But one of the more interesting things to come up was an interview with the movie following TV show Dailies with Stan Lee about the direction of the new Spider Man 4 movie.

In case you are not familiar with Stan Lee (shame on you, what kind of a Spider Man fan are you? And you were asking about the Spider Man 4 trailer? Seriously? Don’t worry, I’m just kidding – and we won’t tell anyone. Not only that, we’ll even give you a cheat sheet right here), he is the man who created the Amazing Spiderman for Marvel comics together with Steve Ditko back in 1962. He wanted to create something new and different with this new super hero. Here was a high school kid who in other super hero comics would have been a sidekick to the main man himself, but instead was the main event. Lee presented the concept to his boss at Marvel comics but the story was rejected. Lee really believed in his character though, so he slipped it into a book in spite of his editor’s objections and the rest of course is history.

Anyway, Stan had an idea that he would like to see The Lizard entering Spidey’s life. Readers will of course recall that the Lizard is really Professor Curtis Connor, who is a mentor to our young super hero and who eventually morphs into a villain (funny how that seems to happen for so many of our super hero’s – Clark Kent and Lex Luthor started life in many iterations as friends and only later became mortal enemies). He also mentioned that he didn’t know for sure that Peter Parker would in fact get together with Mary Jane. He’d originally had other love interests in mind for the human spider, but of course even a fictional character has a life all his own.

If you really must see a Spider Man 4 trailer right now by the way, you can check out a fan made version on You Tube. I took a look and it was actually pretty cool. Either way, Spider Man 4 is set to hit theaters in May, 2011.
