People are picking disney apart over this once coz the Princess is so different but you gotta remember that the last real fairy tale story they did was Beauty and the Beast in 1991. So obviously peoples attitudes to certain things have changed since then and maybe they wanted to return to their roots without completely adopting their old storylines.
@livesquid13
I actually think this is his worst film.
And not up to par with his other work make’s me wonder if he had any issue’s working on this movie.
fabb!! A great movie all the way up to the last 10 or so minutes… When it just got totally let down! I wish they had chose a better ending? to finish off the movie the right way! 8 / 10.. watch at MOVIEPRINCESS[DOT]com
I think when it comes down to it, America doesn’t know how to market animated films outside of it being “kiddy fare”. In countries like Japan or France, ANYONE can watch animated films and not have to make excuses. And not all animated film are for children, ALSO: I also don’t think it’s fair that 2D animation earns blame for making a film bad. Pixar has such great films because of their awesome stories, the 3D is just icing on the cake.
John Lasseter is a genius
always lissin to the children XD
Awesome movie I watched it online for free here THECINEMA {.} TV
‘Don’t Mess With Magic’ i’ll have to remember that all my life…

I agree with hyuugafan88j4, I hate how people are picking apart this movie. Why is there always an evil intention that people pull out of no where?
I thought the movie was amazing, very well cast, incredibly addictive soundtrack, amazing animation and very captivating story-line! And hey, Naveen is one of the first princes, aside from Beast who has an actual personality and flaws! I’m really glad that Disney went back to 2D, its what got me to want to be an animmator, thank god for Lasseter!
I wished she had interviewed some adults or teenagers. I’m not saying that the kids are not helpful but just because it’s animated doesn’t mean it’s just for kids. I’m 16 and I’m excited about seeing this when it comes out in the UK!
why did she only ask kids? lol
loved prince naveen. and dr. facillier is THE BEST disney villain so far.
Why is it that people always question Disney’s intentions? They made a Black Princess, they returned to 2D. The end. Jeez.
You know, maybe Disney just *wanted* to make their princess black. Maybe they felt that they needed a black princess. And even if they didn’t, even if they had some other motive, who cares? Tiana is a very pretty princess and the first out of the group of Disney Princesses who’s independent. If anything, I think that that’s not racist at all.
haha, i love how they only interviewed little girls for this one. so cute.
GREATTTT movieee!!!
DDDD
fell in love with it! :]
my point i reckon disney are running out of ideas
