Almost this entire sequence deals with the speeder chase sequence where the logic behind everything in the sequence makes absolutely no sense at all and is only there so they could have a speeder chase sequence. This is a reoccurring theme in the SW prequels.

Why did the assassin hire another assassin? Because he thought it’d be easy. He had more important people to kill. Sadly it appears he really did hire the Helen Keller of assassins to do the job for him. Always be careful when you subcontract out your work.

@Mesina2 It makes me laugh how upset people get when he calls Jango Boba. He’s doing it ON PURPOSE. Just like he calls Amidala Amidama or refers to William Shakespeare as William Shakesman or William Shatner. He knows who Boba is and who Jango is, I bet he had to comb through the movie several times so he knows who’s who. The point is, THEY ARE INTERCHANGEABLE. Especially because in the Special Editions, Lucas replaced Boba’s original voice with the guy who played Jango’s voice.
It’s Jango Fett, but since Boba and him are exactly same I’m not surprised with mistake.
