I wouldnt watch this movie twice in one month, but I love it because it is great to reflect upon, The story, the twists, the depth of the main charachter, the hard, cold moments of truth that he faces, its great! theres alot to think about once its over. This has been a great year for sci-fi. Star trek, Avatar, and District 9 are equally a must see/own.
This movie is haunting, its as though donnie darko and requiem for a dream had a baby

notice how the older someone was the better they liked it. that’s because the older you get the less impressed you are with CGI and the more easily bored you get with crap stories and/or stupid casting/acting. johnluvsluna, the ‘plot twist’ is GIVEN to us- not MEANT to b a big surprise. the suspense is in the consequences of the situation & now they impact on the character. a REAL, 3D, COMPLEX, HUMAN, CHARACTER. thank christ. thankyou DJ for a smart film. so rare, so good

asside from a great lead performance, there is nothing outstanding about this movie.
it lasts 137mins, 20 mins in I had worked out the “plot twist” and was waiting for the rest of the movie to play out.
Hmm let’s recall… who was talking to you answer no one do you just jump into conversations that don’t concern you to feel important? Maybe you should do something of worth instead.
