the Hangover reminds me of “dude, where’s my car” where the same thing happens but they’re trying to find his car.

brad pitt and christoph martz were AMAZING!!!! 10/10

  8. To be honest, I expected The Hangover to be one of those comedies that I’d love and others would see as low-brow, but everyone seems to love it. Nice to see a comedy movie breaking the mold. Also… I have yet to see it all the way through. But I did like what I saw.

  9. Easily the best part of the movie.

  10. @ jpizzle u should do bruce almighty!!!!!

  11. 5:37 It is an amazing film. You might need to correct the rate-o-matic.

  20. I haven’t seen either of these movies. (I want to, tho)
The Hangover sounds very similar in plot to “Dude, Where’s My Car?”. =P

  21. i just want to say, you do a great job at reviewing movies! FTW!!!!

  22. paranasrdacoolest

  24. MrHeavyMetalx

  25. MrHeavyMetalx

this is a movie review dude…anyone can do a review, Jon just does it better than most.

  26. @ezesaw Durning was so amazing in this…trivia: he won a Silver Star at Normandy on D-Day. He was 17 years old.

  27. @j2the69 John Cazale was such a fantastic actor…and what about Charles Durning, the way he sets Pacino up to hit the homeruns…amazing…

  28. @burrfscott Oh, great idea! Now that I’m head of development for a major studio, that’s exactly what we’re going to do!!!

  29. I recently saw this film for the first time and I must say it blew my mind away!
Sidney Lumet had startled me before with Network, which I consider possibly the greatest American film ever made, but with Dog Day Afternoon I simply was yet again thrown off my seat or sofa which is where I was sitting at the time I saw this film.

Movies can’t get any better than this like Scott said. It is truly a masterpiece!

  30. It doesn’t matter if the trailer gives away the plot. Watch it because its a flawless film. In the seventies you would see a trailer before a film in a theater only. Its not like you had endless youtube loops back then.

  31. gingerbreadeddie

okay watch this and the trailor and you see the whole movie in around 5 mins! i cant believe they gave away the ending!

  32. Although I have already seen the film, is is not quite convenient how they spoil all the endings of the films Scott reviews?

  33. Al Pacino, Chris Sarandon, John Cazale and Charles Durning…. amazing cast!!! =)

  34. true story.

  35. 2:27 :O is gay!

  36. ShittiestChannelOnYT

    Ruined the ending >=l

  37. People look at Chinese Cooffe her on you tube. Al is still the greatest! He is my idol and im not an Actor.

  38. no accidents, we hit a bump and the back of your head blows apart. drive carefully, copper. sal, you sap

  39. AntiJehovahsWitness

    Agreed!

  40. the best acting performance ive ever seen in a movie

  41. creative11019

dis movies is sad as fuck

  42. ryanakababyface

do you know what, i love al pacino, what an actor, he seems to have lost his way slightly but i think that comes with age but at this point he was top of his game and just simply dynamite!!!

  43. Up so the bank people wouldnt know how much money he had taken and it would be harder to trace. He shouldve just taken it with him, and done everything like a hundred times quicker. Cause yeah he fucked up pretty bad.

  44. i hope the studio system never tries to do a remake on this film.

  45. One of my favourite films – never tire of watching it. The scene where Sonny is dictating his Will to the manager…a great example of how the character’s humour and humanity faces the reality

  46. Dreamcatcher004

    aaahhhh i too love it a lot…
but it would beecome to me if the real sunny just managed to escape from the airport…

  47. É absolutamente inacreditável a força desse trabalho de Lumet. Sua contemporaneidade extrapola décadas com rara inteligência de quem pode observar o extrapolar do cotidiano de vidas,

  48. BinkieMcFartnuggets

This is an awesome movie, but for some reason no one can answer me this one question: Why did Sonny burn the bank register? What was the point in doing that? It did after all, get him caught.

  49. CitizenKANE2277

Great film, Lumet is a terrific director. This is probably Pacino’s best performance besides “Serpico.”

  50. A Sidney Lumet masterpiece, and it’s one of my sister’s favorite films.
