i think audiences will still folow harry aftr the movies r over. i mean, theres still the amuzment park and anyway, people are still fans of star wars after the movies ended, so why not hp?

i’m a big fan of both the movies and the books but i still have to say that the books are way better. i’m so upset that they didn’t include a lot of things in all the movies. I get that they can’t put all the insignicant things into the movie that are in the books but they also take out a lot of important things that might be needed for the future movies or might just be enjoyed by the audience. Things aren’t explained in the movie like they are in the book and so i personally think….

I hated this movie…. it was my Favorite Book but most hated movie and same thing happened with the third which was my favorite book till the 6th came out but my most hated movie at the time but I’d still give this a 6-7/10 for a standalone movie

that’s odd, this was only PG in the states? the UK rated it 12a. Usually the USA are more cautious with rating. And as a HUGE book fan I think this is the best film because they acknowledged the important character plots without trying too hard to be the book. Whereas before they tried and failed.
Dark, thrilling, and occasionally quite funny, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is also visually stunning and emotionally satisfying….good thing i found this movie online at

this reminded me about the russian boy that was adopted and almost burnt the adopte’s house down, but this movie was great it was terrifying it was thrilling it was emotional, and the twist at the end was VERY unexpected!

many told me this was supposed to be a shocking ending, id be more shocked if there was more story line revolved with the parent’s affair as the movie mentioned in the middle, like the dad molested the orphan and the mom lost the baby because she cheated when she was pregnant, or maybe the orphan was the dad’s past girlfriend who died. wasn’t too shocked that she’s 33 and has mental illness and kill people for fun because she has hormonal growth deficiency

SPOILERS! Also, I wanted to punch the dad (SPOILER!!) for not believing the mom (STOP READING..SPOILERS!). But when she stabbed the heck out of him, I bet he wished he had believed then. And I think it is SICK that part when she was getting all hot for the dad. SICK. Seriously. Yea she is supposed to be thirty plus, but the real actress is not. Max, the girl playing her, was awesome! Sad the father died. My opinion.
YES! I do think playing this role as a child has the potential to mess you up, or at the least mess with your head. Actors talk a lot about getting into the character, studying its mind and thoughts; becoming one with the role. Heck no I would not want my child to be one with this part. But to each his own. The actress did a great job.
I didn’t like the ending at all!!!!!. The only character in this movie that i really liked for some reason was esther. I hated the mother, and the brother. the father was ok. But the ending was terible. i wish esther would stay alive some how.
Worst Orphan Review ever. Isabelle is an amazing actress! As are all the actors in this movie! Especially the little girl who played Max. Major skills for someone so young.
@armenius28 To be honest most of the movie bored me until the twist xD Esther is too obviously the bad person. They should have made it less… less shoved in our faces, and more creepy on that point.
@DeathnoteBB .Yeah….but you know,its always the same story.Wife get suspicious and the husband (who knows his wife more then 10 years in most cases)…the husband never beliefs here,and is always to busy with work.A cheap story line when you ask me.I saw this scenario to often(and better done).
@armenius28 He really needs to figure out that he should trust his wife rather than that new russian orphan they just adopted.
I’d so give this 5/5 stars! I love that movie i think its pretty good and it has good morals, characters, settings, and a good storyline to it!
@Human52093 Actually it is not that ridiculous. Yes the illness Ester is supposed to have will not make someone look like a child. However adults pretending to be children have happened now and again. A few years ago a over 30 year old woman was arrested in Norway, she was wanted in a child molestation case and she was hiding as a 12 year old boy, went to school and everything.
When i first watched this in theatre i was OBSESSED with it and i got it the day it came on dvd its awesome and i feel so bad for the little boy and girl!! =( SO SAD she almost kills the little boy like 3 times
the movie is not bad,but boy oh boy,the husband character is so annoying.
