No I wasn’t saying they should go easy on it because it follows the book. I’m just saying, they got too harsh with this movie. Seems like they took jokes and made it into something serious, like with the scenes with the little girl. They’re making it out to be like he was a predator or something. Just my opinions, but critics will be critics. But they criticized on the wrong parts. That’s all.
Mabye Time Travelers Wife shouldn’t have been made into a film then. If it isn’t a good movie, it isn’t a good movie. You shouldn’t “go easy” on it because it follows the book. If it turns out a bad film because it was true to the book, the book doesn’t translate well to cinema.

The movie was great, the book was good. (except the took out the true final ending which made the whole story what it is. And the whole story was a metaphor of Audrey Niffenegger’s life. Btw it’s not like he seduce the little girl in the movie or anything, it’s not his fault that he can’t take his clothes. Funny, they criticize that part but not the time he came back to when she was 18 and made love to her. But seriously, horrible reviews, critics need to wise up and mature. Rotten Tomatoes ftl.

Quote from a reviewer for The Time Travelers Wife “he doesn’t seemed all wowed up in emotion” See if she was paying attention she’d know that some stimuli with his emotions cause him to time travel (mainly stress) so that’s why he’s not all “wowed” up with emotion. Also shitty reviews about the movie, like the whole naked thing with the girl. Give it a break, pay attention to the damn movie. Rotten Tomatoes, you suck at giving reviews. And the movie critics are idiots.
