Classic Game Room reviews the ONLIVE on PC showing OnLive running on a Laptop Sony Vaio with mouse and headphones. As of this review the OnLive gamepad does not work on the PC since the OnLive recognizes that it is being played on PC and defaults to computer controls.

@igotabigEGO81055 there on a server not a computer, if they were on a computers that “well exceed the recomendations” then they would need one computer per person
@WeGameAllDay the games are on a computer at the company that well exceed the recomendations. as long as you have a good internet conection it will work perfectly
I prefer Steam. If you have a crappy internet connection, then onlive will be horrible for you because the games are being streamed.
Note to self: Do not go up against lava pits when playing Onlive on the PC.
I cant login to it like 99% of the time because it says
“We hav detect a high latency connect to internet that will result in poor responsiveness”
and
We have detected intermittent dropouts in your internet

joined today and got deus ex human revolution for £1
so i have a considerably older computer i have a dual CPU T3200 @2.00 GHz
2 GB of RAM and a realy old video card called the 965 express chipset family…
you say that this is basically streaming games to your computer… my computer can handle videos at 1080P no prob but when it neads a good graphics card it almost litterally shits on itself…. you think onlive can run the games well or no?

The only problem i have with this is that you cant download the game therefore meaning you need internet connection to play a solo campaign. Its a great system but i think i will stick with steam for now
do the games have system requirements if you play them on the pc or do you just need to meet the service system requirements?
no fucking 1080p options ,so it looks terrible on a pc monitor but ok on a tv, sort it out
@jhjh151 You can try the demos on Onlive for free if you install it. I don’t have Onlive anymore because I have a gaming PC. I just wanted to check the program out. I don’t think it matters if you got a fast computer or not, as long as you have a good internet connection.

@iMiguelAOG It streams games to your pc, so you need decent connection that’s all:) make sure your comp is around 2004+|D
@BigRandomBox You could try an re loadable cash card. They work just like an credit card. You buy one at most any drug store or big box store.
