Classic Game Room – HEAVY FIRE: SPECIAL OPERATIONS for Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews HEAVY FIRE: SPECIAL OPERATIONS for Nintendo Wii from the Wii Shop Channel. This download WiiWare game is like Operation Wolf meets Modern Warfare. Set in Somalia, you shoot “terrorists” or something… basically pop up targets that pose a minimal threat. Heavy Fire is an arcade style shooter on rails with predictable gameplay and functioning controls. Play single player or co-op with a friend. Shoot enemies for points but don’t expect much variety in game play, locations or enemies. Heavy Fire is a bare bones budget light gun style shooter that gets the job done for an affordable price, but true arcade gun game aficionados should look elsewhere. This CGR review of Heavy Fire Special Operations on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Heavy Fire Special Operations Wiiware on Nintendo Wii showing on rails shooter game play.

im only at level 2 -_-

  5. black hawk, say it out loud

  6. *Random dude with gun Runs Towards you*
    *You Fire and hit him*
*Random Guy Pauses for a second and then proceeds to do a dramatic death spin and roll*

That’s how it should always be!

  7. This game is absolutely horror. I mean I cant even look at the screen without getting angry. Someone needs to be fired for even making a game like this, truly and with no doubt, its just wrong.

  8. “Carnival King” is good game in the wiiware light gun shooter.

Stages are short, easy to play, and good gun calibration exists.

  9. MAKE FUCKING TIME CRISIS ON WII!!!!!! top comment inspired me to say this after vodka. but FUCK, how has time crisis not come out on wii yert REALLY?

  10. @TeyonGames A game dev making a post. Wow. ;)

  11. @TeyonGames Glad to see that you’re reaching out to the community.

  12. i enjoyed this game alot!

  13. For anyone interested in the game and generally in the on-rails shooting: we’re expanding the series with Heavy Fire: Black Arms.

You can see the teaser at our channel, TeyonGames (see my profile) and on the official website. The game has a lot of new features and is set in the jungle.

Hope you’ll like it! :) Thanks for all comments related to the game (even those not favorable – we learn a lot from what you, players think).

  14. i got this game today….its alright but…I kinda want my money back :( oh well it fine.

  15. @m22k3yt

I rather play my PS3. But Wii has some good games too. But over all the PS3 is better, but the Wii has better download games.

  16. Hot Shots was great. Here’s for dropping a bomb in Saddam’s lap!

  17. this game looks like a good arcade style type games i personally am not in to it they cant hold my attention for that long

  18. @m22k3yt Yeah i know this is 3 in a row lol.. just saying that i respect your opinion and understand why you like the wii. I personally just find motion controls clunky for shooters, for RPG the controls are nice and enjoyable =D the Wii could have so many more good games if they made more..not child targeted games…but this is just my opinion, play whatever is fun for you =D no console beats another for fun, because thats up to you =D PC is my fave and the wii is yours thats great if its fun=D

  19. @m22k3yt Also, the pc is great because you can play all offline games for free ;) in no way being spoon fed via developer, and for the amount of mods and different things you can add/play with on pc is amazing on games like Team Fortress 2/left for dead 1 and 2/ Counter strike source and many others. and the ability to run ps1/nes/n64/xbox(normal)ps2/ds/gameboy emulators not to mention a wii emulator lol =D pc is the only game device that will always be there..because cant make a PC2 lol ;)

  20. @m22k3yt Well for one i always play on hard mode for 1p, and i prefer online for shooters..and the wii is filled with idiots that cant play. Just because its innovative does not make it good. Pc is in no way a dying platform lol. out of all gun games played in total hours it still gets #2 for Counter Strike Source, just under mw2..the wii wins in no online game. i admit that if it had better games the wii could be great, i adore Monster Hunter Tri for wii, over 200 logged hours in it =D

  21. @beastlyrage …challenge yourself in different ways. Let me guess you love being spoon fed by the game developers. This is why the Homebrew channel was invented because others saw more potential in the wii than 1st party companies. Btw, PC Gaming? yeah that’s not a dying platform…

  22. @beastlyrage Are you kidding, the wii is the most creative and innovative console out there right now. It’s easy to basically take a ps2 and just put a shit load of upgrades (hence the ps360).It’s another thing to risk what you’ve established and invest in motion control technology, market it, and sell it by the millions. This is why Nintendo will always be king and why so many other video game companies have failed. If you think shooters are too easy w/ mc’s turn the difficulty up…

  23. @m22k3yt The sad thing is..you think the wii is good lol..i own a wii (got cought in the hype and bought one :c ) and also, vicious said nothing about the ps3′s motion controls. I for one hate motion controls, they are annoing and make shooter game way to easy : but either way ps3/xbox360/wii who cares? use what you like..i for one believe the PC is the ultimate gaming machine, for graphics/controls and the ablility to use mouse/kb or a standard usb controller =D

Nintendo has reported a loss for the first quarter of 2010, declining sales of both the Wii and DS are to blame. I think this is where the Wii slides out of existence (hopefully). I don’t see the console being around for much longer.

@albinopig123 ….While the controls have been improved they still seem inferior to even the dual analog controller. Naming all those FPS games on the Wii all compare favorably to FPS games of 2004……sad.
