Boktai is a video game series developed by Konami for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS handheld consoles. The title is an abbreviation of the series’ full Japanese title Bokura no Taiyō (ボクらの太陽) or Our Sun. (The name “Boktai” has come into regular fan use in Japan, as it is a common abbreviation scheme to use the first two kana of the major terms in two-word titles.) They are recognized for using a solar sensor that is a key element of gameplay. The Boktai games are produced by Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear series, who also came up with the initial game design and concept. This is the trailer that was at E3 back in ’03 i believe. Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand The first game uses a major attachment onto the game’s cartridge, a solar sensor. This has major effects in gameplay, and is a key element needed to progress. The amount of ultra-violet rays that the sensor detects is displayed on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. The sunlight is measured in blocks, with a maximum of eight blocks. The main character, Django, fights with a solar-powered gun known as Gun Del Sol (Solar Gun), which uses batteries which store energy, displayed at the bottom right-hand corner. This is solar energy collected via the sensor or various methods in gameplay. This energy can be stored in solar stations which the player can withdraw and use when sunlight is not available. The solar energy in a solar station is limited to how much the player has collected. The …
Watch in High Def: bit.ly Though more of an interactive movie than a game, D is still one of the scariest and most unique experiences in gaming.

@kiwikenobi
Just google “boktai website”, the second link should be the website for this game.Once on the official website click your language (english or japanese) and then click where it says Boktai Comic Guide and there you go. Hope this helps.
Cool Boktai promo! I remember seeing this as a comic (like, stills, with no sound, like a manga) someplace. I can’t remember if it was online or in a magazine. Does anyone know where I can find the comic/manga version of this?

i just want to say i am a huge fan of your show, and d is an awesome game yesterday i did my halloween specail and i did a review on this game. keep them great review coming man
@Deepfree29 ok =)
@YuriLuvinAnarchist It’s too well known.
@JTpombo I’m I know, my brother posted that comment.
@YuriLuvinAnarchist He only reviews underrated games, Goldeneye was the complete opposite
@Bylga I will somewhere in november, I have a lot of c64 reviews coming up so in november…
@Deepfree29 Do that. Send me a link when you are done.
@Bylga Lucky on getting it for nothing, I bought mine back in the days, many years ago actually, thinking I might do a review of it sometime soon, think it’s time recollection past memories!
@Deepfree29 I agree. I just played the game and i was to scared to play this game alone in the dark. Even if the game is like ?15 years? old it is still scary and fun. I got my 2 copies of D for free (Playstation)
@Bylga it’s pretty weird nonetheless it is nice and it draws you in and is also somewhat scary, you should’nt miss the game if you can still buy it, however today the game is extremely rare and expensive!
How many have played D? Was it god?
@shadydawg555 Call of Cuthulu (or what ever it its called) was an Xbox only budget title. I never got to play it but I heard it was a pretty decent horror game.
@rockPanties69 Actually, a guy named Mazer on Gametrailers did a review of Rule of Rose under his “WTF Games you’ve never played” series if you’re interested. It is WEIRD looking game.
hey, did you hear about the splatter house remake? just kidding
This game reminds me of Heavy Rain to PS3. It’s interactive movie, just go around the environment, do the actions that you can do, and it’s off the next act. Even though there is alternate ways to go through the game, the same scenes repeat no matter what. It’s only purpose is to collect trophys!
@Ukraineianduck I am a horror game slut, Im mad at myself for not knowing about this game, D, and Call of C. Ive gotten Fear Effect, Dino Crisis *Trying to get both of the sequels* all the RE-Silent Hills-Fatal Frames, Clocktower 3 *1-2, I CANT FIND!*
So Now, I look for D, which I ALSO cant find. Also, I only got NES-N64-PS2-PS1-SNES, and ive never heard of Call of Cthulu! Im gonna guess that ISNT for those, hmph!
