Video Game Deaths – Part 3

Welcome back to Part 3 of the Video Game Deaths series. Again, sorry it took so long to post this video but I’m a very busy person. This video will have deaths from the following games: Miner 2049er (Atari) BC’s Quest for Tires (Atari) Final Fight (SNES) Mortal Kombat II (SNES) Some other Mortal Kombat Deaths from other series as well There are other Youtube Users I’d like to thank again for borrowing their videos but I won’t be typing them out this time. Instead, check out the ending credits to this video, it’ll all be there.

One of the coolest action/platformers ever made. This game has been ported to other systems like NES/Genesis/TG16 but the Amiga original is by far the best. The Commodore 64 version is great too btw. Especially Chris Hülsbeck’s outstanding soundtrack which got brutally raped in NES/Genesis & TG16 versions.

  10. The Song M.U.L.E. Played mostly when you select trade when contacting an alien race in space stage of spore begins playing @11:30 as an 8-it rendition.

search for “Spore: Galactic Adventures Soundtrack “M.U.L.E” (Hidden M.U.L.E. Theme)” in youtube search

  11. How and where did you get the 8 bit remix of EA’s Spore Shopping Music?

  12. WHAT THE FUCK?

  13. @jeppewie1206 Your right its not AN video game death its A video game death.

  14. that was too funny lol

  15. I honestly think the Contra 3 soldiers and Haggar from Final Fight should exchange the sounds they mae when they die. Like, the soldier gets shot, he’s all like “Gruah!!” and just flips over. Haggar just gets the crap knocked out of him and he flies to the other side of the screen going “WOW”.

You know what else would’ve been good? In KOF ’94, when you fight against Yuri Sakazaki or King and finish them off with a special attack, their clothes rip! Gotta love SNK.

  16. LMAO!!!! at 10:48. best part!! hands down.

  17. this is not really an video game death, but it shouldn’t have been made anyway: Chou Aniki.

  29. music, from 7:55 is stunning!! it bring’s so much good memory’s from “ancient” time :)
    Amiga for ever!!

  30. graphics look strange
iam more familiar with this graphics to be amiga (500)
    “Turrican 2 World 1-1 (Amiga) “

  31. I know this music anywhere, this is the amiga version. People. Stop acting like know it alls. Amiga had a awesome sound processor. You can tell that’s what you were hearing when you play a AMIGA version of a game. God….

  32. DeviledEgginator

This version is awesome, the Genesis version messed up big time.

  33. @LiLLinz28

This was NOT originally developed for the Amiga. It was made for the C64 by Manfred Trenz (who did everything on his own, actually, apart from the music), and ported over by Factor 5. Get your facts straight.

  34. @Stopmotionist A majority of the time yes, but the mode 7 levels are great and Chris Huelsbeck has some of his best work there (Wormland, Sunset, Boss-A-Nova)

  35. @fredmooretwo

Eh. I found it unbearably shallow, like Contra minus anything interesting.

  36. @metroidvera

You can get the actual MDAT and SMPL files from Exotica in an LHA archive (decompress with 7-zip or WinRAR), then convert them using DeliPlayer or an equivalent utility. Here’s the download link: files.exotica.org.uk/?file=exotica/media%2Faudio%2FUnExoticA%2FGame%2FHuelsbeck_Chris%2FTurrican.lha

  37. @Stopmotionist XD!

  38. @fredmooretwo

Hold on; let me take a look…

    *heads over to GameFAQs*

    *looks*

By all that is sacred, so it does!

  39. @Stopmotionist It’s a different Turrican, there’s nothing wrong control or gameplay wise, but it’s not as good as the others.

  40. @Stopmotionist Yes, or as I like to call it, “Arnold Swarzenegger on crack being eaten by an overly happy bug!” It seriously does look like that!

  41. @fredmooretwo

Ah. What’s hideous about the cartridge? (Is it the one with the chrome-suited muscleman?)

  42. @vio2112

Super Turrican 2 is a Turrican game in the same way that The Faces of Evil is a Zelda game.

  43. @Stopmotionist The Genesis version was done by Accolade and The Code Monkeys. I’m staring at the hideous cartridge now. I have it in my hand. Otherwise you are right.

  44. @blobface007 Hurrican isn’t a remake, its a fan game !

  45. Hurrican, the remake, is even cooler!

  46. check out i would put in Hurrican by poke53280.de – freeware jump and run, based on Turrican. A true Classic, reborn! not sure if this is an “indie” game though
do not flag as spam, until you see the legend REBORN! freeware, ofcource

  47. TheTrevorGoodchild

@bikingmadman Subsong 2 is ‘Escape’ By Vice DiCola from the Transformers movie soundtrack by the way.

  48. @mvxr Eh yes it is..

  49. It’s NOT the amiga version!

  50. @bikingmadman

Yes I do agree, yet for some reason the rest of the world thinks the music from Turrican 2 was better. Not in my book
