I love the Silver Surfer’s dialog, it’s so poetic and beautiful, encompassing the magnificence of the universe through an ex-herald’s point of view unlike any other could. I have such a nerdgasm whenever he opens his mouth lol
how can big g get sick, he’s made of pre energy. he has no need for immune system or chest or brain or stomach etc. all he needs to maintain he’s internal power is external planets. this is off track by far…a lapse in the good quality of work and writing in this series
This was one of the greatest cartoons based on a comic of all-time! Well written, art was superbly Jack Kirby-esque….Up there with the likes of X-Men A.S. and Batman A.S.
if it were really fer the greater good, the surfer shoulda just let galactus die.
if nova wasn’t involved, i’d bet he’d risk his own life to end galactus’. who knows he might have just reverted back to his old self after the big guy is gone.
while the idea of going all fantastic voyage in Galactus sounds good Galactus isn’t a physical being but Raw power Cosmic contained in a shell, IE that armor he wears. Without that he looks like a star.
it’s all conscious dialogue and ideas, i love it. you could learn the real lessons of life from watching this stuff if you pay attention.

Its a shame that the animated series these days lack the comic book atmosphere and art.

I cant really get into this. Personally I thought the X-Men animated series and the Spiderman animated series were excellent and the best Marvel done.
This, Iron Man and even like the Hulk/Fantastic 4 of around the same time seem really cheesey and not well done.
