it’s played during the opening, viewing Podunk- almost as it is viewed in the video above.
also played when the “sacred dog” visits

I’d have to go through it again to find anymore places it plays out

  4. I love SOE

  7. -calls for dog- “here boy” -completely different dog pops up- “oh this must be my dog” I love completely random plot lines in these games :)

  8. @Th3jonman now you can also buy secret of mana 2 on ebay. gamers are making their own copys that actually work i have one its completely translated to english

From 1:09 to 1:38…. what track is that? I can’t seem to find the song in any of the other soundtrack videos….

  10. this one is very very underrated. i would even say it beats SoM in some parts. the OST absolutely stands on its own. btw i wouldnt say the soundtrack was not complex… some pieces are quite actually quite complex..

  11. @kkeelan

Crying? Lol… it’s one thing to be about this game, but don’t you think that’s a bit much? :P

  13. @8bitCannon
Thank you. There really should be more like this – that explore outside of typical conventions.

  16. this is the only snes cartridge i have left, i have to download all my games for an emulator since they got stolen over 10 years ago

  17. @kkeelan: excellent comment. I fully and completely agree.

  18. I love the music in this game. I had so much fun playing this when I was a kid.

  19. This was one game where your NPC sidekick was actually helpful….vital at times even. If only programmers today took the same formula they used for the dog, we wouldn’t have stupid sidekicks messing things up in todays games

  20. @kkeelan and jeremy soule is an expert on this kind of music! I also like his other work on the other games but this one is still my fav & secret of evermore is not a typical or generic magical kingdom type of rpg.

  21. I still love this game, if square make a remake of the game…

  22. @Megadeth72 ameh to that

  23. One of my fav game & OST of all time
the game has a unique story, character design and the music just fit the game creating a surreal atmosphere

  24. transformersvoice

  25. the music of SoE was sooo creepy and mysterious. well done soundtrack!
