Tool-Assisted www.speedruns.net Played by Dark Fulgore in 8 and encoded and presented by SpeedRuns.net. This is an emulator-played speedrun which takes advantage of rerecording and savestates. Killer Instinct was Nintendos answer to the Mortal Kombat series. Not that much violence but pure combos made this game popular. Dark Fulgore shows us some really impressive combos and very nice gameplay.

    I could never figure out any of spinals moves and i was far too proud to look them up, so i just kicked ass with eyedol. AWESOME VICTORY (perfect)

    @RyanJRA64Abella I’ve seen a few Dark Fulgore videos and he seems to sacrifice speed in exchange for looking amazing.

    For all of you going, “HOLY SHIT THIS GUY IS THE BEST EVER HURR,” you have to remember, this is a TOOL ASSISTED SPEEDRUN. There isn’t human skill involved. He used save states and took advantage of rerecording using an emulator. The only human skill used in these TAS’s is patience because they take a fuck load of time to make. It’s fun to watch, but it isn’t skill you’re watching. It’s using technology to make something look cool.
