Secret ending of this great game for SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). You have to pass the game at max difficulty without using any continue, this way you can “Master” the character. My case, I mastered M. Bison, that’s why you can see his special ending too! Enjoy!!
@pakitovo no… the MM from M.Bison is. Mike Bison… the reason its because who you know as Balrog, originally was named Mike Bison (in honor at Mike Tyson) but advertisin politiques dont allow it… son in America capcom decided to change names…
M.Bison=Vega
Vega= Balrog
Balrog= M.Bison
Also Gouki=Akuma… and that’s the story about their names =) hope be usefull
I miss the days of the video arcade. I would always play the master in there on SF2 or any fighting game they had and beat them in their house. It was always a good way to get money and make new friends.
@JankyToe Actually M. Bison is Balrog’s name in japan (and Bison is called Vega). Back then they wanted to make a parody of Mike Tyson, so the entire name is Mike Bison
@JankyToe M. Bison was originally the boxer. It was a play on Mike Tyson. Mike Bison. For legal reasons, the names were changed when Street Fighter was brought to the US. Mike Bison originally appeared in Street Fighter 1.
@JankyToe In Japan, M. Bison is actually Vega and Balrog is M. Bison….weird. They changed M. Bison to Balrog because they thought it resembled Mike Tyson too much. You know, Mike Tyson…Mike Bison….they might have lost an ear.
@pakitovo it’s mike. mike bison, like mike tyson
It’s funny, I just dug out my vintage SF2T release cap out of my closet. Those were the days.
@JankyToe Mister Bison.
This game is forever!
@pakitovo It’s Mike Bison, which is the name for Balrog in Japan. Derived from Mike Tyson. M. Bison’s name in Japan is Vega, and the English Vega is named Balrog.
@pakitovo What about E.Honda? Ernest Honda? Ephraim Honda?? xD
@JankyToe actually the M stands for Mike Bison but in the original japanese version M.Bisons real name was Vega, Vega was Balrog and Balrog was Mike Bison (reference to Mike Tyson) but the name was too close to Mike Tyson so they swaped the names to avoid legal issues
@JankyToe It stands for Mike Bison. Because the boxer’s original name was suppose to be M. Bison like Mike Tyson, but changed it because legal issues about the portrait of the boxer being too similar to Mike Tyson. In Japan, the boxer is M. Bison, the dictator is Vega, and the matador is Balrog.
“Thanks to you…The world is mine!!” – Looks like the 4th wall took a beating too.
@JankyToe M. Bison is the boxer’s name in Japan.. like Mike Bison..
@JankyToe I’d say Major Bison.
So what does the ‘M’ stand for in Bison? Matt? Mitchel? Moe?
