www.nesguide.com
Video Rating: 4 / 5

tasvideos.org In this amazing movie, Taco and Kriole have used a new route and made short work of Mother Brain and her space pirates. This run takes advantage of several techniques never demonstrated before in other Super Metroid runs outside of waiting areas. The in-game completion time is 23 minutes 29 seconds, and 18% of the items have been collected. Note: The rerecord count in this run is false. can you beam down to planets on this?
    I might buy it.
I like star trek 25th anniversary for nes
however the game would have been soooo much better if the music wasnt constant on the planets and if it was like empire strikes back where it comes and goes

  3. suburbcinderella

how does this game work? i mean do u play as the characters? do u go on away missions?
    please someone help?

  4. I’ve actually spent time out of my life to beat the game, and yes the Borg are the final opponents. Ridiculously easy to defeat. You have to put all power to weapons and have it chase you around for awhile before you actually destroy it. I love killing Ferengi’s though :p

  5. LOVED this game back when

  6. this was horrible… my dad gave me that game when i was young.. and.. it sucks..

  7. i have this for gb no colour though

  8. I remember getting to the Borg cube and firing forever at it and then dying. They could have at least gotten the sound effects correct! ;)

  9. Wow, I had this on GB… it looks identical except for some very basic coloring. Yikes! Guess Spectrum Holobyte was lazy…

A buddy of mine had this game back in my early college days. The last time I remember playing it was between my junior and senior year in college.

  11. omg! I had this game wayyy back in the day! The gameplay was terrible and I could not beat the game. Legend has it that the borg are the final opponents. Do you have footage of the final stage?

  12. 1337 rerecords… Was that planned, or is it just that this video is so awesome that it is “leet”

Oh, I see, never knew about that trick. Thanks.

  14. @Galdhon Nope, if you’re TASing you can take advantage of the fact that arm pumping every other frame increases Samus’s running speed by around 50% to do it without mockballing.

  15. VTNC paguei um pau *-*

  16. EebstertheGreat

Galdhon, what Taco and Kriole did in this TAS (and others before them in theirs) would be impossible in unassisted play. In order to do that, they had to perfectly position their jump and arm-pump at 60 fps in order to move fast enough.

  17. I’m guessing it’s a mock animation, made in Photoshop or something and inserted into the movie with movie editing software.

  18. At around 8:04, I thought that you could only pass there either with the Mock Ball technique or with the actual Speed Booster.

  19. GrafZeppelin81

how did you make the first screen?? is that a hacked rom??

i mean the try again and TAS advertisement on the beginning

  20. Yes it’s possible, but it’s tricky. You can always just walljump up, shoot the block, fall down, and walljump up again in time to pass before it respawns.

  21. GrafZeppelin81

at 9:20 the climb is possible by playing it self?
means i try to use ur route/part of route for a nonTAS

  22. This is one of the best full game TASes I’ve ever seen. The only one I think is better is the All Dungeons Ocarina of Time.

  23. lol I love how Samus “reads” the warning message at the beginning.

  24. This run is a fucking masterpiece.

  25. Can’t wait, watching now.

  26. why not have swordlesslink or rogueyoshi upload it

anyway, I’m gonna see this run now

  27. Ugh… your account should by allowed to post longs videos.

    Stupid Google *facepalm*
