Why are the sound FX so bad! The genesis version sounded so much better than this. Never seen the amiga version so I can’t compare, but I wonder why this version was chosen over the genesis version or the amiga version for that matter. I would suppose it is the player’s preference.
@bleachwad I don’t wanna argue over such matters. Both systems have their ups and downs. I was just offended with that other dude’s comment. eh…enjoy the games..ya know what i mean…one love baby!
YEAH! It’sa Flashback!!)) Played it on Genesis, and thought that it was the best game ever! When i first saw the cutscenes i nearly shat myself – it was fantastic!
Thank you very much for this longplay.
Ah, good ol’ Flashback. I remember playing this again recently, since I forgot about it for a good 10 years. Loved playing it back then, loved playing it now.
I just love games made in this “style”. Prince of Persia, Another World, Flashback, Blackthorne, Oddworld 1 & 2. Does anyone know of other games of this nature that I might like?
@Rockerbeck I have both the Mega Drive/Genesis version and the SNES version. The SNES version is not nearly as good as the Mega Drive/Genesis version. It suffers from a lot of slowdown and very choppy performance, plus the audio is not as good as on the Sega. Overall though, it is still a great game and you should play either one. In my opinion, the DOS version is the best of them all, then Genesis, then Amiga and the SNES in last place. haven’t played it on any other systems.

Didn’t you prefer the a-nigga version? :3
actually, what you should have said was “Nintendo is what Genesisn’t”
but its too late and I don’t care, SNES has muffled Sound FX and slow framerate for nearly all its 3rd party ports
AMIGA VERSION WAS BETTER
@bleachwad and nintendo does what segdont…like mode 7, transparency, 4 backgrounds and 10 times the colors.

Picked this up on Genesis and Sega CD a few weeks back, great game.

Genesis does what Nintendon’t
@Rockerbeck yep….there is no slowdown in the genesis. Also, this version is slightly censored.
Played and finished it on PC version, amazing game along with Another world.
esse jogo marcou minha vida XD
sooo many ports of this game. I don’t think the Atari jagwire port was tooo bad.
I remember this game it was a bitch.
Is the Mega Drive/Gen version better?
Flashback on Super Nintendo?
