  7. Hey dude, do you mind i add you o.O

  8. Same guy who played R TYPE III o.O

  9. @melvoin And yes i was an Amiga user from 1990 till 2000 but i can see the merits and quality of this SNES adaptation of SWIV. Both versions are excellent in their own right with strengths and weaknesses in both.

  10. @melvoin I think this might be down to the fact that the Amiga never got the credit and still doesn’t to this day in regards to its contribution so as such those who were once Amiga users are making up for the lack of coverage over those years. Generally speaking when people think of classic gaming systems, they only think Nintendo or Sega, but something else was happening at that time in Europe and Australia.

  11. uhh dude? you didnt really lose a luife on the game, so basically, you had 16 lives left.

  12. i actually beat the whole game with helicopter on firepower, which is the same.

  13. ‘ve just picked up this game for my SNES. I used to have it when I was a kid. For some reason I cant work out how to start a 2 player game though!! When I start, it just ends up with both players controlling the jeep!! No matter what I press!! Where am I going wrong? Or is there something wrong with my copy of the game? There is no options to select a 2 player game or to use the plane. Please help!! :-(

  14. @omegafaust its called being broke! asshole :P

  15. @melvoin

Wait what!? We still have Sega/Nintendo/Amiga/any other system of the era fan boys around!? I thought we all learned that by picking a single console to stick with, we only end up missing out on great games that were on the other systems.

its always ALWAYS better to not be a fanboy, but instead be a real gamer, and real gamers don’t pick sides and stick only with them. That just causes you to miss out on alot in the long run.

  16. Nothing more annoying than elitist Amiga fanboys. They’re even worse than Sega fans.

  17. Gets kinda crazy towards the ends. So many bullets….

  18. Has anyone noticed that the first boss music sounds like the future scenes in the Termintor??

  19. used to love this game but im useless at it

  20. Amiga SWiV is a slow game best avoided

  21. i dont think so, maybe explosions and terrain model, but models of enemy vechicles are more detailed in amiga-swiv. Compare first boss from amiga-swiv and SNES-swiv. Best way is to finish both versions :)
    SWIV forever !!

  22. …and the destroyed tanks/objects, doesn’t leave junk frequently as in the Amiga version.

    With shadows the atmosphere is more realistic;
The SNES version is more colorful but lost something…
    …So, You are right.
    Amiga version seems better.
And who matter if there isn’t the ingame music?

  23. Anyone know when I shall use this cheat to try level 5?:

    Level 5 – RLRLLLRRLLRLRLL

  24. graphically SNES SWIV is 4 times better than the Amiga SWIV

  25. Rheinheld German loser

you can’t accept SNES is a better port of SWIV
