I never beat this game but my older brother did. It is a fabulous game and I enjoyed watching him play it. I did play the Children’s level, which is nearly impossible to lose to. Thank you for putting this video online. It was a very entertaining hour.

@thps48 “It’s old” is not a good excuse at all. And not only is it the best Metroid game but easily one of the best games of all time. I highly recommend that you get it… And it’s only 8 bucks. Definitely don’t pass this one up.

professorsniper,..you can get a free snes emulator on line and play it on your computer.its really nice.if you have an xbox 360 or ps3 wired controller you can plug it into your computer and use that.just google snes emulator then search supermetroid rom and you can play it on your computer.its actually nicer than the actual snes i think
I have a lot of memories with this game. And none of them is bad. I like that game and I hope I could get another chance to play this through. Unfortunally my SNES A/V Cable is broken =/

i think you should get it the game is big the music is awesome and the graphics are cutting edge despite its age the game is great but if you really want to know if the game is worth to download i suggest watching a review super metroid on youtube the review name is k-wing he made a awesome review of super metroid just type knightwing01 super metroid review on the youtube search bar and he will tell you everything you need to know about super metorid and wheather or not if its worth the download
I’m still debating as to whether or not I should get this on VC. It’s old as hell and I could get a similar experience with Zero Mission or some shit, but people keep on saying it’s one of the best Metroid games ever. Plus, there’s the fact that it’s one of the only Metroid games before the Prime explosion. I’m sure it’s still good despite its age, but what does everyone else think?
