i ran into the wrong direction and the water slowed me down too much, the pirhanas started biting my legs, i ignored the option to trace back my steps and run where i came from and subbornly kept going forward, until suddenly i collapsed and died
Nice review. I love this game, more people need to play this. Btw it doesn’t “contradict” Chrono Cross. This game takes place in a parallel dimension to Chrono crosses (the same dimension as Chrono Trigger, as Kid is the baby Lucca found at the end of Trigger).
@MKScorpion06, Just to completely counter your argument.. I like puzzle games like ICO and can’t stand visual novels. If I want to do nothing but read they have books for that. The best “visual novel” known to man will never compare to a half decent book. Having static images along with the text doesn’t add anything. if anything it detracts from what your imagination can come up with. Combining books and video games is just a bad idea. So is combining movies and video games ala Heavy Rain.
Play this on a snes emulator, then you can fast forward and save warever you want. Makes the game a lot more fun.
It’s actually alternate, text Chrono Cross. Also more faithful to CT than Cross.

That game doesnt make any fucking sense, it does have C.C. Main characters, Serge and Kid and C.T character Magus? Wtf? Can someone explain what the hell is with this games plot? There is no Magus in C.C. and Serge and Kid doesnt know each other at the start of C.C.? LOL…. Thats so fucking confusing

to answer thsi i would say, those who did ccross first being it was on playstation, probly never heard of ctrigger, and ctrigger first ppl were told that ccross wasnt a true sequel so alotta ppl got turned off to it, fortunantly i played both and still do to this day =)

I loved this game so much, it’s a shame it was never released outside of japan. Someone should take the english version of this game that was fan dubbed and stick it on a cartridge like they did with Starfox 2, I’d buy it!

Not when patience turn to boredom i had more fun playing the games at the fair in chrono trigger or playing that stupid blitzball game in ff10 than this. Man I had high hopes for this game but i was disappointed X3 in the final product

man u got 2 have the patience of a tree to play this game. They did good not 2 bring this story game 2 america. this is a poor excuse for a sequel or whatever it is 2 the greatest game ever.

actually u can get all the characters if you play threw the game more than once and u also get 2 fast forward everything on your second playthrough

ive played both i own both. only finnished chrono trigger though chrono cross was to annoyingf im the one who like to get everything and knowing its not possible to get all the characters ruined it for me
