2nd Random Retro Review – Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues (SNES) A wonderful 2D side scrolling shooter with co-op. Contra and Rush’n Attack blended together, set on an Island with Dinosaurs. Thumbs up! Very enjoyable platformer. Grab a copy if you can and have fun! Score = 7/10
@FredBaller4 – Thanks x2 Fred =)
Great idea with the RRR man. Great review as well.
@RyHoMagnifico – I was wondering where the “Biosyn” references came from. I never read the book though so just assumed parts of this story were just created for the game. Thanks for the info on that.
Love this game. I am a big Jurassic Park fan via being a huge Michael Crichton fan. What’s cool about this game is it actually acts as a sequel more to the book than the first film because it uses Biosyn and Ingen stuff, which never made it into the movie.
@jillpoo3 – Thanks man.. My reviews are mostly just me rambling during gameplay since I don’t get very “in depth” on many aspects of it like I should. I still have fun doing them though.. Glad you liked it.
@RaulBillieJean – Thanks RBJ! Look forward to the Dragon’s Lair review. I really wish someone would bring this series back. A cell shaded DL adventure title would be cool.
Hey! I like the random selector idea!! This game looks really cool! Amazing review man!!
very cool review i have never played that game before! by the way the review i told you about that i wanted to make for dragon’s lair..i haven’t finish it yet betwwen school and how hard is the game it is taking me forever to finish the game..(i’m not usuing any cheats..)
@james42519 – That may be a possibility. I’ve been playing it on the Retron3 so the music could be off. I’ll finish the game on the SNES and see if my opinion changes.
i seen another video on this game and i thought the music was actually kinda good. you play it on a real snes to? maybe the clone is messing that up?
@MegaDVDcollector – I hope it makes you discover some gems you’ve been putting off trying bud. The trick is going to be making yourself give that game at least 30-60min, no matter how bad it may suck at first.
@snowcon3 – Oh yeah, the Ingen building levels really remind me of the Alien 3 game as well. They play similar too. Man that would be awesome on the Space Harrier. I’ll get up a list on my dupes this week and we can swap something out. Thanks bro.
@TheGebs24 – Thanks Gemma! The game really surprised me at how fun it was. I guess it slipped under the radar for most people since it came so late in the console lifespan. Thanks for watching =)
cool review dude. I’ve been using that number generator site ever since I saw your first review that way I would give some PS1 games I’ve barely played another shot. Cool review can’t wait to see more!
This game looks pretty badass, and kinda reminds me of the Alien 3 game on the SNES/Genesis.
Oh hey, I have an extra copy of Space Harrier on the PCE if you want the duplicate for your collection. You can message me with an address to send it to if you wanna grab it.
Awesome video. Never played the game but it looks really good.
very cool…look forward to more of your reviews
@Charassic – Yeah I liked the first one too but after playing this one, it became my new favorite. The side scrolling + co-op just make it more fun than the top down 1st version. I’ve never played the “Rampage Edition” game that came out on Genesis either. I’ll have to track that one down eventually =)
I haven’t seen this game before. I loved Jurassic Park on SNES, but the gameplay style is so different.
