I played this when I was 8 or 9 in the early 90′s. I never got past the first few stages but it did not matter because it was fun just beating people with sticks, trashcans, and brass knuckles. This was the GTA equivalent of the NES.
i found some weird rom hack of this game were the many of the words had been replaced with curse n genitalia words. also the sprites of the people had been changed so they were exposing their Genitalia :O
@lonewander3931 Double Dragon wishes it was RCR. You can learn new moves, power up your character, and reading what your enemies are saying is just awesome!
man….look at the 2011 of today,stupidisis 2,call of crap modern shitfare 2,prototype 2 thats coming soon(not saying im not gonna buy it eh…),and,how could we forget mirrors edge 2 which is coming in November(not saying im not gonna buy it too)?
Now,think of pixelated games,Tiny Tank,Scott Pilgrim vs the world….i think it was better before when pacman was the best game,eva.
@maxemidian Me too! I’ve been searching retro gaming videos/channels on Youtube, in hopes of finding other retro gamers for 2 player games. Unfortunately with the exception of 1 person, several months ago, I haven’t had much luck. BWT, I just found out that this game has special moves for 2 player mode. Anyway, if you (or anybody) think you might be interested in playing, all you need is the free Nestopia emulator/& ROM. I also do MAME, Atari, Intellivision, & N64. Let me know! )
