    @penguinsnotincluded pretty much the peripherals should work except any light gun if your using an lcd or plasma. Havent tried any game genies or adaters. Sorry

  6. ProjectReality64

    @devildude1255 there are very few games that wont

  7. ProjectReality64

    @Thevilman yea it is

  8. Is it compatible with all special snes chips, such as Starfox, Donkey Kong?

  9. @ProjectReality64 you can use snes controllers with it correct?

  10. i think i might get one of these has anybody found any games it wont play

  11. killer instinct ftw

  12. @NintendoandWoWgeek because it has poor S-Ram modification.
    These things are NOACs (NES on a chip). So basically, it’s a hardware emulator.
    Don’t get me wrong, they’re a decent substitute if you want to play on your TV, but it’s no different than playing on an emulator sans the cartridge.

    But nothing will ever play your games as well as the original consoles. Period.

    hey man i have a question, i got the black and red retro duo (it was 20$ cheaper on ebay so dont judge me >:P) anyways what i was saying is does an nes game genie work fine with that system? I was wondering if i need an Famicom to NES adapter AND a NES to famicom adapter just for the nes game genie, and do almost all snes peripherals work for the system?

  14. @NintendoandWoWgeek Sounds like you need to replace the battery in it.

  15. @RetroJunkie2000 S-Video was actually originally meant for VHS, the difference is definitely more noticeable on an larger screen, but even an old SD CRT TV.

  16. RetroJunkie2000

    @ProjectReality64 I originally wanted it in Silver/Black, but I decided to settle for Black/Red.

  17. i got the gold and red one.

    @mortonkoopajr S-Video is an extra video cable that can be plugged into an HDTV and it makes the Super Nintendo games look noticeably better. The Nintendo games, on the other hand, will only appear monochrome because the NES obviously wasn’t built for S-Video (or so I hear).
