So….. Can i play with my nes controller on the retro duo?
So… Do I just buy a SNES and save my self from all the problems?
@poshko41 some of the nes games, like super mario 3, have that problem but snes games are fine on it!
Where is that awesome store located?
I had a problem with that too. What you need to do is really stuff the NES carttridge in. It takes a bit of a knack but you get the hang of it sooner or later.
Do you have the problem with the nes games that they don’t work because they are so loose?
I need help, I want to buy this, but I need to know if it will play super donkey kong, super donkey kong 2, super donkey kong 3… which are the japanese super famicom releases of donkey kong country. because i heard it wont play the european donkey kong country.
Try lifting the front of the unit by placing something under it, so that it tilts the system. It seems with the NES games being so wobbly you can have a hard time of keeping it from freezing the game whenever the cartridge is budged. I also had a bit of trouble starting up an SNES game@1st, I’m not sure what it was that was causing it but I made sure to remove the NES game so that only the SNES game was in. It seems you can just reset the cartridge and it’ll work, but the NES slot is very picky

THAT SHIT IS ANNOYING if you’re playing an NES game and even slightly budge the system or tug the controller, it’ll freeze the game. The NES carts wobble like crazy inside the retro’s slot. consider placing a trim around the slot so as to help keep the games a bit more steady
I just got one right now but it doesn’t work
So you got in a habit of smelling your games… strange..
where can i get a light gun for Retro Duo
would the FC Twin light gun work on Retro Duo? or a SNES one? please help
i read that a light gun was released for Retro Duo but i can’t find anywhere
yes it does.
I own a Retro Duo and unfortunately I find that it butchers most of the music for NES games. Examples include: Zelda 1&2, and Castlevania 2. As for Megaman games they seem to be quite compatible, though a little off if you listen carefully. The SNES part works great. No complaints.
does it wokr wiht the fx games like doom?
These r ausome game consoles:-)
No you can’t use the NES controller on the retro duo, it won’t fit. The controller that come with it or a SNES controller will work, or your could do a mod on an NES controller. There are Youtube videos that show you how
how do you know that that particular mario RPG you’re using isn’t a version 1.1 (which runs on all famiclone) have you tried it one a FC twin or a version 1 RetroDuo (which is reportedly crap)
Please someone help me out. yay finally picked up a retro Duo, its kinda stupid to ask now but i also picked up a few NES games. No SNES games yet. If I used a controller that cme with the Rettro Duo, could I use them with NES games? Do I need to buy a normal NES controller? Can I plug in the NES controll into the Retro Duo thnx plz help.
your game just needs a good blowing or cleaning. that happens occasionally to me…cleaning helps
i have some other questions- is the 8-bit a tight fit, are the pins tightly packed? (most NES systems meet get screwed up by the pins warping out of place especially the 8bit “toaster push” design)
As well, can you try out Paperboy and Battle toads (8-bit pain in the ass games that just so happen to run into play problems on both duo and fc twin- reportedly)
Does the system work with european NES-games?
try wiggling the video cable on your tv, or clean your game
whenever I turn my retro duo on, the who screen just goes white, does anyone know what’s going on?
Thanks in advance
I love the heavy breathing by the camera guy
could you reveiw batman and robin for the ps1
Good review.
4:20.; What song is this from the game, again?
Holy crap…: An NES game review without the ‘F’ word every other couple of seconds, or, so!
Epic freaking win!
Even after twenty years the original 1989 Batman movie is still the best. And to think that it spawned some really good video games.
batman is better than batman returns
Nice review, greetings from Brazil. =p
@KedViper
That word has numerous meanings. It meant happy and in gamer slang it meant lame or dumb. I can’t help if a group of people have warped its original meaning, then again Im not a politically correct person anyway. But I don’t use the word in reviews anymore. Btw Im not profane and I never swear, I do use bizare slang, but thats about as far as i go.
@kNIGHTWING01 You said gay twice in a video and I was like “woah” cause ur never profane.
There’s a Batman game worse than the Batman Beyond one??? o_o Dang, that’s BAD!! I loved that show as a kid, I was so bummed when they stopped airing it.
I’ll probably get the NES version, it looks great. I have the Sega Genesis one and I love it, the music’s AMAZING. But yes, the combat could be better, what I hate is the jumping can be awkward when you use it on enemies. You can’t move very far with a regular jump so if your enemy isn’t positioned just right you take damage.
ur reviews are awesome, lol i just dont get why in batman games that the block doesnt work
And then there is the Genesis review, what on earth is you talking about here? Its called LOW KICK and not SWEEPING KICK! A sweeping kick is a low, circular kick that are used to trip your opponent, big difference! And the punches work perfectly I use the punch all the time! If you cant get the punches to work then you suck big time! And this game is a real gem, it has good graphics, good sound, good controls and it follows the movie, thats more than what you can say about the NES version!
you must be a retard to say you needed therapy for that youre a loser
3:28 those faces of the joker on the monitors always creeped me out a little, almost like he’s mocking you… ahahahahahah!!!

which one, would guess Kabuki QF did, but in my opinion, that game is far superior
@supernorst The developer pretty much copy and pasted the levels over.
OMG !! look hooooow detailed is the NES batman!!
Everytime batman jumps ,first he crouch!!!!
now that I CALL ,FREAKY REALISTIC DETAIL WORK!!!!
This game is hard,i only ever completed it once.
Awesome review
@hucklebuckle1990
