i used to have the N64 version and i played it ALL the time. i never officially beat it because i used the level select cheat and went straight to the last level
ive got the playstation version, its practically the exact same thing. it took about 7 hours to beat it w/ like ~110 levels, including space monsters and robots and wut not
I’ll never forget the absolute stamina fest this was for me and my friend one day, as a kid. We spent soooo long, beating this game. I think the reason I’ll never forget it, is because, it took soooo long to beat it, and all you got was a super crappy ending that said “congratulations”. I beat this game when I was like 9 or 10. I’m 26 now and I have never forgotten that horrible disapointment.
There is the same game for snes, but they called it something diferent like monsters rampage or something like that. Does anyone know where can i find it? Have been looking for the rom like crazy
The PS2 version is the worst.Even though Ralph is ob the title screen,Only George and Lizzie are playable. The only way to actually play the PS2 version is to buy “Rampage:Total Destruction” which was released Spring 2006.Rampage TD features a charector select screen and over 30 monsters. But to play Rampage you must go to the Extras menu and select either Rampage without Ralph or Rampage World Tour which also excludes Ralph. On Rampage TD the only way to play as Ralph is to play Total Destruction.
Nice review…. I used 2 play the game on my old NES, but it was fun…. Now, I still wish I could play that game, but its impossible since my NES cant power up anymore.
@24680987654321 He did Silver Surfer and Dragon’s Lair, the latter of which he called the worst NES game of all time…until he plays Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.
@DocNintendo I think the review is better because he doesn’t get furious about this. And Game Dude is crummy. Aqualung comes across as a person, Gamedude just sounds like he’s reading cue cards that someone wrote in another language.
The orange snake, the boss of the Woods level, looks like Kaa the snake from “The Jungle Book” and those rings that he shoots must be those hypnotic rays that he does in the movie.
I remember playing this a long time ago, could never get to finish the last level. That alligator boss was annoying, dodging the bouncing bubbles was too hard.
I must say that this was THE single most frustrating game I ever played. The first level the funhouse was anything but. The level is hard enough with the falling lamps and numerous enemies locked doors double floors and such. But the crow snatching Minnie all the time REALLY takes the cake.
@Nemesis986 I actually still have it.
the gamecube version was my favorite game in second grade
WOW this version sucks! sega’s is so better. did activision make this?
The Brunswick zone near my house still has a Rampage World Tour arcade game
Why didn’t you talk about the N64 remake?

Arcades now are nothing more than racing games and ticket collectors.

Fun game, when playing multiplayer!
The sound effects after being shot is pretty funny!
So basicly you punch the snot out of buidings and try to dodge bullets and stuff ? it would get boring
i remember playing this version and the psx version. the psx version had around 100 somethin lvls too, w/ the space levels being the last.
i never beat the N64 version without cheating lol
There is the same game for snes, but they called it something diferent like monsters rampage or something like that. Does anyone know where can i find it? Have been looking for the rom like crazy
the one(s) for the n64
which rampage game do u get sent into space?
i actually prefer the 2 n64 rampage games
I FUCKING LOVE JETHRO TULL!!!!
Oh yeah, good review too
DOPE
I was playing it at Target. I think played for 15-20 minutes.
The highest score I got on the arcade was around 300000-310000.
great two player game

that forest level ruined my childhood

@PlagiaristGamer No advertising here please.
Are you also fed up of those generic game reviews?
Always the same crap about some washed up, plagiarizing douchebag like the Angry Video Game Nerd that complains about a game that is not reminiscing?
Well my friends, look no further, for I am TheGame..I mean The PlagiaristGamer!
That’s right folks. The waiting is finally over! The game reviewer of the decade has finally made a YouTube account by popular demand!
Stay tuned, ’cause we’re cracking this bitch WIDE open!”
OMG, I loved this game so much as a kid. I must have played it a million times. Loved every minute of it.
@DocNintendo I think the review is better because he doesn’t get furious about this. And Game Dude is crummy. Aqualung comes across as a person, Gamedude just sounds like he’s reading cue cards that someone wrote in another language.
Man, this game used to scare the bajeezus out of me when I was little. I don’t know why, but those fake Minnie statues always freaked me out.
I was a strange child… XD
The orange snake, the boss of the Woods level, looks like Kaa the snake from “The Jungle Book” and those rings that he shoots must be those hypnotic rays that he does in the movie.
I mostly agree with the reviewer about the forgettable music, except I do think the Pirate Ship music is pretty cool.
I though I saw a graphic from Puss’n Boots at 2:59.The one that looked like a piece of crap.
Man this brings back in the day
I remember playing this a long time ago, could never get to finish the last level. That alligator boss was annoying, dodging the bouncing bubbles was too hard.
PWND
your rewievs would be better if you were a bit more angrier like game dude is.
that music in the start is great
That’s so funny
i remember play this when i was like 6 years old only made it to that dam snake once and it killed me = that 3 stage was annoyin even as a kid lol
Ahaha, this was so funny. I remember having to draw a map of sorts and keep notes while my sister played the woods level!
I don’t think sexism has anything to do with it. I’m a matriarchist and I found Minnnie Mouse to be annoying in this game too.
lol…minnie mouse comments
why?
so you never played deadly towers, silver surfer and dragons lair?
OMG, I was looking this game for a long time.
I must say that this was THE single most frustrating game I ever played. The first level the funhouse was anything but. The level is hard enough with the falling lamps and numerous enemies locked doors double floors and such. But the crow snatching Minnie all the time REALLY takes the cake.
From the intro it sounds as though aqualung is sexist
