Out of This World (SNES) Speed Run Part 2 of 2 by Lokarin

A speed run of Out of This World for the SNES. This run was done by me. This run was done on a real SNES with no hacks or game-enhancement devices. This is Part 2 of 2. While the speedrun is 17:20 long, the run time of the entire video is 19:24 Part 1 can be found at: www.youtube.com
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Tool-Assisted www.speedruns.net Played by Dark Fulgore in 10 and encoded and presented by SpeedRuns.net. This is an emulator played speedrun which takes advantage of slowdowns and rerecording. Ultimate Mortal Kombat III was a bit like an extension to Mortal Kombat III and the latest Mortal Kombat for SNES. This game contains lots of characters and tons of combos and moves as Dark Fulgore demonstrates in this movie.

  5. captainmurphy52

  9. milkythecat3221

lol, I couldn’t even get past the first part when I played this a long time ago. Good job to you! :D

  10. What a short game :(

  11. I loved that game – great job.

  12. This is an epic game. Revolutionary for its time.
And the graphical design is way better than most of the new games today.

  13. It’s been years since I’ve seen this game. I never finished it back in the day. Nice to see the ending, as such.

  14. anothernewblet

Yeah it was meant to be ambiguous (the ending). You were never completely sure of his fate. But then the sequel came around and that was that…

  15. The sequel not only killed Lester, but denied the player any hope of him returning home at all, thus…making the game really pointless for some. Still, you did this way better than i ever could.

  16. I always kinda liked the ending… like, being carried by the alien and riding an alien pterodactyl into the sunset. “WE’RE FREE!!!” (Well, there’s no Sun, but still)
The music for the ending on the PC version is very interesting; gives the ending a different, almost romantic feel.

Of course, then that blasted sequel ruined everything.

  17. Lester is such a weak guy. He’s having such a hard time crawling, running, swimming, and just about anything. If it were not for that gun, he would have been dead long ago.

And what the HELL was with that ending. I saw it a long time ago, but now it just seems really screwed up…Dude never makes it home or something. And his legs’re broken.

  18. what a weird game

  19. yes, it’s the weirdness and total randomness that makes it awesome.

  20. The first time I got to the “coliseum” stage I was like ‘what the F is this?” Sooooo weird. Still not really sure what you need to od, press all the buttons until the flashing one appears then press it to eject?

  21. yokohamaguy75

SUCH a great game. Thanks for these videos, seriously.

  22. Those aliens sure have bad accuraccy.

I mean, your running in a line! its not like shooting a fly with a shotgun at a HUGE distance!

  23. Same thing happened to me, I played the game when it first come out, so of course no internet, and I got stuck too at the end, so I actually called the game tip hotline lol. The dude on the other end guided me on how to finish the game.

  24. VeiledHeathen

It’s been years since I’ve played this game, only to find out I made it to the very last sequence and was unable to figure out what to do… arrrgh! A very fun game!

  25. i love this game

  26. You should use Chameleon, he shows a lot of characters, but you can’t control it….much more entertaining and more challenging.

  27. ScrapBrainZone

I don’t understand… Why does it decide to do fatalities when that just consumes more time? Isn’t this a speed run?

  28. 007rocksalotmann

@SacredWingMaster , not flawless. He is hit by Jax. 03:35

  29. Wow, I love the blatant inclusions of glitches and bugs… very entertaining speed run.

@X2QSILVER I guess any decent emulator is good enough to do a TAS (I never did a TAS myself mind you), the best one so far for SNES is ZSNES
