  1. this version has terrible lag.

  2. FuccThatShitNigga

2:42 I always heard him say “Akuma”

  3. @mrjustin5 It’s very possible. Artistically they needed a way to direct vision towards other features (A blank blue sky is non-directional) and it does kinda look like chemtrails.

  4. I love this game. I heard the SNES had the BEST music of all the versions. I currently have it for the Panasonic 3DO game system and the graphics are amazing. The background is incredible on the 3DO. But the music isn’t so great. QUESTION: in that first level… are those CHEMTRAILS in the sky?!!!!!

  5. I always thought it sounded like the alien guy was saying “My toolbar!” when he pats Lester on the shoulder :D

  6. This game is a legend in it own class.

  7. Great video, this game pissed me off at work i had to save the zsnes state sooo many friggin times just to get through it. Having to backtrack when i did something wrong was a bitch too

  8. @ddlpro The 15th anniversary edition has no slowdown AND plays faster. This is SNES.

  9. how could anyone play this the only reason why i would play this back in the day is to laugh my ass off (worst game ever)

  10. lol i just found a speedruner that made it in 11:38
    /watch?v=xjuRLqXePlo

  11. @ddlpro Good, film it. It’s the goal of every speedrunner to eventually be beaten so they can try again.

  12. ahhhhhh ok lol

  13. @biglilnicky Well… an alien

  14. Is that seriously supposed to be a guy’s head at 2:12 !?!?

  15. The main character was testing some machine, and it ended up teleporting him into the world you see here. Basically, it’s just a game of survial/thinking/A LOT OF DEATHS.

  16. i never finished this game… and i really dont remember it… what was it about?

  17. Good speed run – I still remember how frustrated this game made me back in the day.

  18. lol also I’ve only just noticed, you killed the guard before he could call out “anusta” I don’t think i’ve done that before, nice one.

  19. What’s the TAS?

  20. @mintydog06 The first door clip I learned watching the TAS. This trick was easy to duplicate (simply move left a tiny bit and then jump right)

The best part of the TAS is at about 1minute in to my Part 2 video. I came up with my own trick to do this, but the TAS just runs right through. I was able to replicate that trick once or twice every hundred attempts which simply isn’t good enough for a single segment speedrun.

  21. I liked some of the tricks you used to get through it quicker, especially where you jump through the locked door before your buddy opens it lol. How did you find that out?

  22. @mintydog06 I also missed a lot of the hidden vistas, all for the sake of additional speed.

  23. nooooo you cut out the intro music at the start, thats great that music. Other than that great video, one of the best games I ever played!

  24. AloisSenefelder

This game is simply beautiful. I just love the art direction. Very simple, but detailed at the same time. The rotoscoped animations are great, too!

  25. this reminds me of oddworld abes oddsey on the ps1 i think thats what its called

  26. Another fine example of how the SNES soundchip is far superior to the Genesis. I pitty the Genesis fanboys that still believe that the Genesis has superior sound.

  27. I love this game!!! and music! bad to the bone is better here than with lyrics IMHO

  28. henry manchini ( pink panther song) was made the peter gunn song

  29. @felippecoutinhocj That’s correct. George Thorogood did the Bad to the Bone on this game. Thumbs up to you for that point!

  30. @stjepko357 This is for the SNES, so no.

  31. felippecoutinhocj

lol, Bad to the Bone, is performed by George Thorogood and The Destroyers, not Steppenwolf.

  32. Me and my best mate grew up to this game. Bought another SNES and a copy of it JUSt to play it, and its one of the few games thats still just as much fun. Snake ftw!

  33. dumbasspauldentonkin

    There’s a light inkling of nostalgia…

  34. Just to get this straight, this music was made Tim Follin?

  35. NickolaiVolkov

@mysticmoseh I just called my cousin and played the beginning of the “Born to Be Wild” while saying, “The stage is set–the green flag DROPS!” hoping he’ll remember where it’s from.

I’m betting he will… the game WAS epic! :D

  36. love rock and roll racing

  37. i love it

  38. i always chose yelow marauder as my first car too :D do you know what car the marauder is based on? it looks really familiar but i just cant put my finger on it

  40. paulohenriqueskate

    noob!!

  41. Tarquin is in another time zone!

  42. the only other racing game i can think of that even comes close to the music is Road rash II.

  43. this is just the pinicle of proving a point…the better the music in a game…the better the game…

In my oppinion there is no other racing game that makes you feel like this one does simply because of the soundtrack.

  44. THE STAGE IS SET…THE GREEN FLAGS DROPS!

I still play this now :)

    olaf finishes first
    rage finishes second
    Shred….is in another time-zone :)

of course most of us never heard that bit cos we press the button justas it says olaf :)

    or sometimes olaf scores…:)

  45. diegorolling86
