Aren’t you hyped? — The Legend of Zelda (??????, Zeruda no Densetsu?) is a high fantasy action-adventure video game series created by game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and developed and published by Nintendo. The gameplay consists of a mixture of action, adventure, puzzle solving, role-playing and occasional platforming, stealth and racing elements. The series centers around Link, the main playable character and protagonist. Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and the most common setting of the series, Hyrule, from Ganon who is the primary antagonist of the series. However other settings and antagonists have appeared throughout the games, with Vaati having recently become the series’ secondary antagonist. The story commonly involves a relic known as the Triforce, a set of three golden triangles of omnipotence. The protagonist in each game is not always the same iteration of Link, although the same character sometimes appears across multiple games.

@sheitruis *SPOILER ALERT* uh no rumors has it that the skyward sword takes place before any zelda game but it mostly takes place in Oot time line. THEY say that it shows how the master sword is made but there just rumors. but taking in the Oot time line is true

I read on one of the sites on google, and it said skyward sword is going to be the first in the timeline. So it takes place before Ocarina of Time. I’m not 100% this is true, but you never know.

Since skyward sword takes place in the sky, I think it will be a prequel to minish cap. Remember, the opening story is about somebody(who resembles link) coming from the sky to save the day.

The stpry on skyword sword is weird its link has grown up in a city in the sky and link thinks its normal but when the world bellow is in danger he has to save it

tiny bit disappointed with mario galaxy 2 the ending sucked wtf only 105 stars and now this(zelda) my shit looks better then this shit ass graphics. But it still can be very good especially the gameplay. I loved zelda since I was4 and nintedno as well I am 21. I am a true fan boy but if this zelda dosent deliver I am going to set my wii on fire and piss on it. Miyamato I waited 5 years for this bitch it better be a masterpiece becasue if it is not then zelda games may eventually fade away!!!
@dinmagic I agree, at first i was like wtf but now i love it ^.^ But in my opinion, the graphics look like a combo of the past games’ style (the OoT/MM style, TP style, WW style) Thats what i think the beginning of the trailer was about (showing those past 4 games leading up to the new one) and that this game is going to have aspects of them combined, and maybe even tie em all together?

Whilst Nintendos conference was amazing – Kirby, Zelda, Kid Icarus, 3DS + 73 3DS games including Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Metal Gear Solid, Paper Mario and Pilotwings etc – I have to say I was slightly disappointed by what we saw of Skyward Sword. Sure, it looked pretty but I personally was hoping for a darker, more mature and cinematic game like Twilight Princess. I suppose there’s still time for this to change considering it’s not out until 2011. The plot does sound interesting though.
@SmashBrosBrawl I guess you’re talking about the problems Miyamoto was having when demoing the game. That was happening because the Wii Remote and Sensor bar use Infrared and the audience was full of people using devices that emitted Infrared, therefore messing up the remote. From all the articles I’ve read about Skyward Sword, everyone says the controls are very responsive and 1:1. Nothing to worry about

Skywards Sword has it’s own graphical style. It has a watercolor or oil style into it. At first I wasn’t sure what to think about it and after a while I decided to accept it as it is…..now i just plain love it.

I just saw the E3 The new Zelda game looks AWESOME it looks like Twilight Princess with Wind waker/Mario Galaxy graphics. The game is called “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword”. The graphics are awesome and a new item is a beetle that you can make fly and pick up items like the seagulls from WW. The whip is also gonna be in it too, and a boss is a giant scorpion.

@Mamonuth Yeah, that was a bit awkwardly put, but I meant to say that I have both finnish and british magazines. So not just english language, but magazines from England.
@TheDarkHighlander Oh, moving was horrible.
I packed everything myself, so I wasn’t worried about losing anything, but luckily I avoided any major damages as well.
@dBxBrutality I only have a couple Pokemon games, those boxes you saw might have been the Pokemon themed Nintendo 64 consoles? I also have a few Pokemon N64 controllers.
