Nice. I could get a Retro Mini from think geek. com and this. I’d have some great games like Life Force.
The only two differences I could see off the bat were the fact that in the hard one, you had an actual set amount of lives, and that the first piranha plant tunnel was flush with the ground instead of jutting upwards.

I personally don t really get into zelda 2d and 3d when I get stuck for over 20 minutes I just give up its REALLY HARD and I just dont get into it but I like metroid A LOT

@zeratul575 It was definately for style, not for relgious reasons. Not to mention, Japanese culture is much different than our own so I’m sure it wasn’t an issue there, not saying it was an issue here. I was just commenting on what I knew about Nintendo’s views on it,

@ConcentrationCamper well what do u think when u see a sheild with a cross on it? i think knight so its possible that they were going for just shear style? maybe and the sungeon can be like that for style and difficulty u never know but i try to look at it from the creators point of view like portal y make it look like a bland room? to test and give focus to the concept and not a pretty background

@betterversionn In the ’80s it was still associated with Christianity so I doubt it. What’s more confusing is Nintendo made it a point to avoid any sort of religious reference to avoid confusion and possible debate. We see a cross, and one dungeon is modeled after a Manji. I’ve read the booklet the game came with time and time again and there’s no fictional religion behind the cross or Manji. Shall I say, “clerical errors?” Bad pun, forgive me…
