@fawfulmark2 they better have a story on what happens now that the metroids are dead… because that was one of the esscences of the game… now that metroids are gone, i just get the feeling to think… now what??? i just hope they don’t try anything crazy and repetitive with the story… like mutated space pirates or a new source of phazon caused by meteors… we are tired of that haha
@MichaelinaPandasuit interesting how they connect that ending to this game since this takes places a lot further away to corruption in time lines! they better show it to us.. i mean team ninja is making a game of one of the best franchises in nintendo history… and they better do it right
Really looking forward to this. I like this exploring thing like in the Zelda games. But the controllers seem to be pretty shitty. I really hope you can use the nunchuk.

@T1SC00K1E after Super Metroid and Before Fusion. it pretty much explains what happens now that the Metroids are dead(before she discovered the cloning in Fusion.)
@Schwarzer0Ritter Yes smartass, she talked as in with text, I mean they actually gave her a voice to say things, I think they let her say little things in SSBB but this is the 1st for them letting her have her own attitude it looks like.

That is not the first time Samus talked. She spoke the intro of Super Metroid and talked with the computer in Metroid Fusion.
@T1SC00K1E the story behind this game is back when she first got started being a bounty hunter and when she firsts meets thoses guys she works with in the 3rd game but ya i was hping for something like a game after the third cause if u remember if u got 100% on everything u see that a ship follows Samus but only time will tell whats up with that
I think that Metroid: Other M is going to be a step down from the Metroid Prime trilogy. The game seems interesting and intense, but Nintendo is taking a big risk with the combination of first- and third-person gameplay.

Wow, Samus talked…..Nintendo is taking a bold step in the series, but I guarantee they will never, ever, let anyone speak in Legend of Zelda.

don´t get me wrong.. i think the game looks sharp, smooth, wow on the graphics, im not saying ninja hasn´t done a good job with the game, you can see a lot of art design on the enviroments and scenarios, boss fights, manuevers and shooting, jumping, walking, viewing… they have done a pretty good job… my point is after the prime series, going back to 2D??? imm only saying i have my doubts but as a metroid fan im buying wether i like it or not!! lol

i agree. going back to 2D after experiencing Prime is somewhat…strange. But Team Ninja certainly knows how to create a game that packs a punch (Ninja Gaiden, anyone?), but it’s only natural for Metroid fans to be skeptical of this new approach to a loved series. Personally, I believe the only way to tell how this game will turn out is to wait for it to release and try it first-hand.
