Both forms of the final boss of Live a Live, Odio and Pure Odio. I admit the second part could’ve been better, if Oboro was in Pogo’s place and Akira was in Cube’s place. Although Cube is a better healer overall, Akira has better skills.

The most epic battle of all time.
There so needs to be a port of this damn game. On everything.
I mean, it was ONLY the best thing Square EVER made.
The only thing that still bugged me in this game was Oersted story…I mean the guy’s life sucked, he deserved a better ending after this battle.
It also shows how low and stupid people can be
I had almost the exact same party, but instead of the Xian Shan Quan pupil, I used Oboro to walk faster. That and the “Shadow Mirror” technique is rape.
This game looks awesome and all but it contains a little to much nightmare fuel for me to enjoy *SPOILER ALERT*
I mean really! MELTING PEOPLE TO FUEL A GIANT MECH!?!
This Battle is actually really easy. If you have the Sun Shan Quan Pupil use Xuan Ya Lian Shan Quan, let Cube or Akira heal, Sundown use the second strongest Attack, Pogo or Masaru Attack and Oboro uses Bronze Leaf.

indeed it is a freaky attack, but it has a bit of a deeper meaning to it, which I’m sure you would probably know if you played the game or read a synopsis somewhere.

Pogo’s chapter might be the only chapter which you can beat without translations due to the “caveman speech bubble talk”
I liked Live-A-Live more than any of the Final Fantasy games.
Cube can be leveled? But cube can’t gain any levels. You can upgrade him, but you can’t level him. Otherwise Odio would be a tad too easy
Pogo’s Dodege also deals 999.
Everyone’s ULTIMATE team always has Sunset. Because of his Hurricane Shot, he can dominate Odio, Lei’s speed makes her Squirrel Kick do some serious damage. And Oboro’s cool too, if he wouldn’t have missed everytime during my boss fight
My party was Sunset,Cube,Pogo and Oboro. Even though Cube and Oboro died during the boss fight, Odio went down in 2 minutes
Is pure Odio and Oersted the same person? I mean really, he turned fugly all the sudden.
pure odio was a bitch, he kept turning everyone to stone, and i made the mistake of keeping everyone near each other, i won’t be doing that again.. my levels were also way lower then this guy’s but i won in the end ha
