SUPER WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? In all honesty, I don’t really know. All I do know is this is the most effort I’m ever put into 1 minute of footage, IN MY LIFE. The outcome is okay. It ins’t that funny but at least it looks kind of cool. I had this idea in say…May. I had a web design class this year and I though, “hmmm, if I have extra time maybe I can make a pokemon battle in flash.” That did not happen, instead I somehow did this all in Sony Vegas. (21 layers, booya.) I did most of this on vacation, I downloaded all of the sprites I needed beforehand. Yes, I did make Scar and Simba, it was a pain in the but. The hyenas I just took from a screenshot of TLK SNES game. This was complicated as hell, but at least I completed it. XD My love for pokemon is actually kind of new, for I was deprived in early childhood. I wasn’t allowed to buy the games (videos gamer were a waste of time) and I wasn’t allowed to watch the tv show (it was too violent). Buuuut, I bought Heart Gold in April and am not very happy!

Still one of the best soundtracks of all time, topped only by an elite few. The SPC sound engine was vastly underrated. I actually prefer this stuff over all the orchestral, recorded stuff these days. This music is raw data, clean and simple melodies straight into your head, no backup instruments all over the place drowning it out and distracting you, not limited to the range of the actual instruments, and it’s got that soft sort of “buzz” to it that’s just so good to listen to.

@schn0x So did i man. I got my SNES back in the day with Starfox in a bundle on christmas. I seriously had never again this excitement with a game or a console like i had it with this. It’s one of the clearest memorys of my early days as i hook up this time vampire called super nintendo. Don’t wan’t to miss a moment of that, good times.
