  1. EPIC! playing Dreamcast with a 360 controller

  2. I am 100 percent AGAINST emulation

  3. @phreakindee
Did notice that, but only after I’d commented on it. Lovin’ these reviews. I’ve been meaning to start my own review series sometime soon with a focus on DOS games since I saw the AVGN back in 2007 or so, glad someone else is around to review them too. :)

  4. @T6600C Yeah, if you look through some earlier comments I’m aware of that now. I was playing this emulated and it didn’t recognize the numpad. Works exactly as it should on my IBM 5150 and other PCs now – come a long ways in nearly a year!

  5. Okay, I signed up for a youtube account just to tell you this, mate, I’m liking your reviews, but you need to learn something about the numpad. Hit numlock, use the numpad to play. 4 2 6 and 8 are the arrow keys, and 7 9 1 and 3 are the diagonals… and they’re arranged right! :P

  6. @Bakemon13 Oh I dooooo… especially PC Booter floppies!

  7. Don’t you just loooove floppies?

  8. ……….NOt trying this out :D

  9. omg u got a whole shit load of games

  10. I played this first on my IBM 5150 with a CGA card and it shows the exact same thing. So, for whatever reason, this game uses this palette for CGA. The EGA mode looks quite nice though, but I didn’t have that one at the time of this review.

Maybe you used the wrong DOSBox setting? Because, if it’s set to VGA and you start a CGA game, it will always use that cold palette.

  12. f***in hell man! u hve loads of DOS games man!! holy S***

  13. Neat review – I have nothing to critisize about this one, so I can only congratulate you on another good video!

  14. That’s true, he really is good. I would like to hear the other four though, as I haven’t found many good ones myself, in addition to Phreakindee and AVGN.

  15. true dat

even the C64 version looked a lot better… but hey, PC’s were next to nothing in the early days ofcourse… Amiga was king!

  17. ilikemyhandsbloody

Cool, you do that… would love to hear your comments on this awesome game!

  18. Seriously! You would think since keyboards didn’t have as much of a ghosting problem back then it should be fine to just press multiple keys…
Oh and your online handle makes me want to review the game Blood. Such an awesome quote, awesome game.

  19. ilikemyhandsbloody

    Why assigning diagonal keys anyway?
Diagonal on a joystick is also nothing more then 2 directions together so why not with keys?

  20. Thanks, I appreciate it! – much more coming now that I have a good system to make these, so spread the word

  21. seriously man your like in the top 5 of good video game reviewers.

That is good considering there are 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 and 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 that suck

  22. Yeah, I know “D”… more specific, I know “D2″ on the Dreamcast. Never tried the DOS one though, it’s quite hard to find too

  23. Another quality review sir, I’ll be recommending this to my friends! Keep up the great work!

  24. This is way off subject but there was this obscure game back in the late 90′s called “D”
It was a pretty ‘scary’ game for back then and Wal-Mart was taking it off of their shelves because of some controversy
I had that game and I played the CRAP out of it. Have you ever heard of it?!
Its so hard to even look that game up because of its name
I remember very well you had to go to DOS and type in “laura’ to even start the game up lolol

I just figured you might remember that one ;D

  25. Hmm indeed – I tried it out and it didn’t work on the DOS machine I have here, but I just did it on DosBox with Numlock off and it worked! So there’s that solved, mostly
