@Gretgor666 The way I see it, HVGN and AVGN are the same kind of reviewers but they just use different games, it’s like peanut butter and jelly, can’t have one without the other sometimes.

Oh Derek man, I really owe you a big one! I used to play this game a lot as a kid! even that I sucked at it….
but I really loved this game and never knew the name of this game, now that I know it I´m going to get this and revive some old memories.

the last level of this game has NO enemies (until the bosses) but has to be played perfect. It looks easy but it’s surely not it takes alot of practice or even more luck. I recommend it highly !

a year after this game was released a terminator 1 game was released AND IT SUCKED!!!!
I love the music on this game, sometimes i play it just for the soundtrack, but i can never beat that freakin’ helecopter at the end of the first level.

you missed one thing. the boss at the end of the 4th wily level. i would have liked you to explain how it is the worst part of the game. you pretty have to die at least once unless you get the pattern down perfectly and dont waste item 1 or the crash bombs. i would say 9.6/10
I never had to deal with that part in Heatman’s level. I just used Item 2, and I used Flashman for Quickman’s level. I loved the gameplay and the music was also my favorite part of the game. I remember buying it with my report money and never regretted it. 10/10
I just did that sequence on the Heat Man Level…piss off but really satisfying once you’ve done it.

0_o WMG removed your Mega Man 1 review… They can burn in a hot place, and I don’t mean one controlled by Fire Man, Heat Man, Flame Man, or any other fire-themed boss.

Played through this game today… which I hadn’t played since I was a kid. It is AWESOME. Must have used about 20 continues but I made it to the end… man was it fun. By the way, just use the time stopper on quick man’s level if youre having trouble with the laser bar things…

What you do at heatman’s level is use the missle thingy that you can ride.
It’s actually quite easy getting the 1-up in heat man’s stage with item-2.

i just used item 2 on heatman’s level. i actually made it to him without it, but couldnt beat him til i beat bubbleman and got item 2 and bubbles

Well, good news for all of us American Wii owners, Mega Man 2 is now on Virtual Console!
The difficulty settings in this game were inaccurate. “Normal” should have been “Easy” and “Difficult” should have been “Normal”. Afterall, they take away the difficulty system on the 10th anniversary collection and you play it on “Difficult”.
And use Flash Man’s power to get past the lasers in Quick Man’s stage.
