I have both a GP2X F200 and a Caanoo and both are pretty cool machines. My only criticism about the Caanoo is the positioning of the speakers – they’re at the back and I tend to cover them with my fingers while I’m using it – this is a problem, even for small hands and it’s annoying to have muffled sound, plus the sound is projected away from you instead of towards, so you’re missing out on some volume. I would’ve preferred the speakers to have been positioned at the front like my GP2X.

@GoodHerbs420 If the NGP is release as they say it will be release in 2011 Nov-Dec time.. Im expecting the full hack be around 2013-14 and perfect emulation of GameCube and such be around 2015-?… I never said perfect emulation will be right away! But perfect emulation will be so!! Just like for example. The Psp can play all 156 Neogeo games and work flawlessly, its one of the perfect emulators on the Psp! next to is Snes, genesis,and finalburn etc. Overall, NGP is sought for no doubt!

@XXXXNanoXXXxxx Pretty sure the general rule of thumb when dealing with emulators is if you want decent emulation (playable) the machine running the emulator should be about 10 times as powerful as the emulated machine.
NGP might be able to handle the PS2 and a GC at beyond crappy speeds, but it will probably not be worth looking into, unless an emulator is built from the ground up specifically for the NGP (years of work if you expect good speeds).

I have a Dingoo a320. With PocketSNES it runs every game great (except Mario RPG), the GBA emulator is perfect, and Battletoads NES runs wonderfully. Also, the new Genesis emulator is awesome, too. And it’s nearly 100 bucks less than this thing.

Psp is an enhance version of a Ps1 which emulate all 154 Neogeo games flawlessly,SagaCd,Ps1, over 500 arcade games like (marvel vs capcom) snes,nes,Gba,genesis,and having 1 import persona 3 from the ps2.
NGP is basically a enhance version of a Ps2, with soo far 10!! Imports from the Ps3 .. did u not c Metal Gear 4 demo on the NGP thats a fucking ps3 game and ur talking about GameCube being soo Superior ?! LMFAO!

The NGP might be able to handle GameCube and XBox, but not flawlessly. They’ll be laggy, seeing how this isn’t a fully fledged computer. And when the PSP was released, no one said anything about FF. There was no PSN Store at the time. You make so many mistakes you fool. Funny mistakes though.

Again, there’s still no working XBox 360 emulator. Who said I didn’t think there would be good emulators on the NGP? I just said there wouldn’t be flawless GameCube emulation. If most computers don’t emulate GameCube perfectly, what makes you expect the NGP will? Wii and GameCube have the same emulator, Dolphin, idiot.

@pokeplay7 If you are in serious doubt about the NGP… why dont you look at the specs for it and compare the spec/ram/core engine/graphic card and other specs..
