@petercharleskrug 30 is maximum
Is there no limit to how many levels you can rise up, or is 30 the maximum?
man this brought back memories.
But thou must!
I like the way this guy reviews games, he’s not boring at all.. actually makes me laugh..
Thanks for the real specific breakdown in all 4 parts. This was a great game. One of my proudest video game days when I beat it finally. This brings me back to just times in general when life was more fun…high school. I still consider this the first true RPG. Ultima Exodus and Final Fantasy were a little bit later down the road.
Crazy stock-up bitch!
Meh I never was able to get that last sword. But you can beat the game without it.
Awesome review, *cry* brings back so many memories. Got a chuckle or two as well.Kudos to you bro. Thanks much for bringing back a piece of my childhood. Take care
“You can see the Dragonlord sitting in his throne on the other side of the wall…Fucker.”
XD
OMFG me too. I still have the poster!
Got this game for free for renewing a subscription to Nintendo Power.
“…then she offers her body to you, I mean, her companionship.” roflmao! Great walkthrough. Well done!
THANK YOU!
classic game.. well done. shit cracked me up sometimes
I remember playing this game at like age five and getting to the first green dragon and never being able to take him down. Good memories. I may have to find an emulator and play just for old time’s sake.
Great review. A couple of those hidden things I probably would not have found out.
RED DRAGON!!!
You Brought Back So Many Awesome Memories Of Playing This Game, Thank You
Ah… my first RPG. I remember the music even though I haven’t played this game in twenty years.
This was a great review, by the way.
Hey, I hope you review Final Fantasy the same way you did Dragon Warrior!
My friend Patrick let me borrow the Gameboy color version with an improved DW 1 and DW 2 all on one cart. In the time I had it I beat both games. Definitely one of my favorite series in the RPG genre.
love this game i still wish to play part 2 3 and 4
I like this game. It was more of a starting point than anything. It has led to an excellent series and multiple subseries, all of which improve upon Dragon Warrior.
If you haven’t played Dragon Warrior Monsters for the GBC, I suggest you do so. It makes a lot of references to Dragon Warrior.
I like the grinding. It’s a challenge to beat it. unlike the piss they pass off as games today, which have no challenge and play out like fucking lame ass movies.
yes ther was xd i own it and number 3 on gbc and nes versions
