  1. @ToSAddict thats a badass song

  2. So…..They have a game about anti-violence by having a Game where you beat up People and Animals……Brilliant.

  3. @caramel8624 Why are you capitalizing ERA? Are we talking about baseball here?

  4. Mattel didn’t make the game; they only published it. It was actually Australia-based Beam Software who developed Bad Street Brawler, which was also on Australian computer systems. Being a game historian and game design student, I would have to say that it’s not so much the publisher, as it is the developer.

  5. You Known The main Player in Yellow might be a good MUGEN Char
Reason: Cuz the Different Attacks in Later Levels :P

  6. I agree with everything stated in the review. However, you didn’t even get around to mentioning the bad and inconsistent hit detection, the time limit that’s so strict that stopping to fight is a bad strategy, enemies that randomly don’t appear (and the power-up guy who also randomly doesn’t appear), and enemies that are immune to certain moves (trial & error, much?).

Also, this game was intended for use with the power glove. How’s that for sucking?

Also, A+B gives you a third grapple move.

  7. After watching AVGN reviews, these ones really suck

  8. That’s right! But you fight them in male panty hose and what attacks the game devolopers work but NOT Always like that “trip” attack, you gotta be a total fag! instead of actually “tripping” the enemies, the guy masturbates them! Is this “Bad street Brawler” or “Bad street Fucker”?

  9. Don’t smoke pot kids! Instead dress up in a pair of lime green shorts and a lime green wife beater and beat up random things in the street!

  10. each level is the same anyway, just different skins.

  11. WAIT WAIT WAIT………..

    Bananas are considered weapons?!

  12. rabidrabbitshuggers

I think the argument he makes in the review could also be valid as to why games don’t encourage violence either.

  13. sportygrrrrrrl11998

Oh its a bad street brawler all right!

  14. How bizarre. Is that Central Park or what? I think the village people had a hand in this freakshow game. You play some cross dressing weirdo in green pumps and green spandex shorts molesting pink hipsters and wild animals.

  15. Tomassization

fuck i thought this would be like double dragon and i couldve got heavy barrel a good game fuck atleast i can review it

  16. the people at nintendo should have shut this game down from being released. how can they let them put out this shit i mean hard working people payed a lot of money to buy this for their kids. i know when i was little and got this for christmas i thought itd be a real fighting game, like double dragon. come on, the ear twist? the stooge hit? what a fuckin joke

  17. It looks like that guy’s wearing a sports bra on the title screen…

  18. This is game so bad I actually split my sides

  19. Yeah! But that “trip” attack looks profane! I mean really! It looks like he’s provoking thier penises. Yeah. Really fun game! that is sarcasm by the way.

  20. SondreRasmussen

    haha

    you ‘re so right lol

  21. actually, there are 3 attacks in the game, pressing both buttons at the same time is a third attack, it still lame but yea…

  22. Ha! Try watching Jedite’s review and you’ll see how shit this game looks! I Mean that so called “trip” attack looks like he’s actually Jizzing the enemies. What a Fag!

  23. ┏┫ | | ┣┓ ┏┓copy and paste
    ┗┫━━ ┃ ━━ ┣┛ ┣┫ if you want this
      ┃ ━━━━━ ┃ ┏┳┫┣┳┓ game removed
┗━━┳━┳━━┛ ┃ ┃ from earth!!! AND FLAG IT
sorry it dont work but its cool

  24. So, let me get this straight. The game is teaching you not to be violent but you are technically being violent by beating up people…wow that is just plain retarded.

  25. I played through this game. Did I like it? Not exactly…it did have some funny things going for it though, such as the infamous “trip” force move :) .

I often play those nasty games that were designed to make players feel like shit, because I enjoy making the games feel like shit in turn (if they even have feelings lol)!

It’s a sacrifice that I’m willing to make for the good of the classic gaming community. There still remains a great amount of cleaning up to do, but I’m on it! ;)
