dude most atari games were made by U.S. developers you can keep them in the fridge that is only true about Japanese games (lol)! Honestly tho theirs a video of all that nintendo games can endure don’t even worry if you run over your game with your car it will still work. Nintendo’s cartridge design was a amazing, keep them in the freezer or put in the wash Nintendo games still work amazing!

Tengen was a label used by Atari Games. Atari got split into Atari Corporation, which had control over home console games, and Atari Games, which had control over arcade games. When Atari Games wanted to enter the console-game market, they created the Tengen label. However, they didn’t agree with Nintendo’s restrictive license, so they made the black games. These were not licensed by Nintendo, and Nintendo sued Tengen twice, once when they first came out and once over the copyrights for Tetris.

Those plastic sleeves were the worst things to happen to a cartridge, it’s what made people throw out the original boxes to the games! :C
