this is to me the best castlevania game ever made besides super and and this ones sequel that u get to play as alucaed in!

  2. SuperEvilduck

i like who you pronounce it as ronondo, but you are suposed to pronounce it as rondo and it is not a remake of rondo of blood(else it would be the worst remake ever) its more like a butchered port or kinda like super mario bros 2 that the japanese one was very diffrent than the EU and the US version

I need this title like a crackhead needs dope. Though highly criticised for it’s reintroduction of the original PC Engine version, it still retains a high collective value amongst collectors and often sells for well over a hundred U.S dollars on Ebay. Very nice game in it’s own right.

  4. Oh, at the beginning you had the Wii commercial thing. Do they still show those? I don’t watch T.V. much.

  5. if only they had ported rondo of blood perfectly…

  6. yeah it’s alright I guess. Not as good as rondo of blood (duh) but I think this one is pretty cool. Especailly the music.

  7. If you can go for the Japanese version. Its got red blood, and you can see preety sweet scene after dealing the final blow to the Grim Reaper.

  8. ya know get a good console

  9. my favorite song is diving blood lines in the first level

  10. I’m currently on level 5 of this game, it’s definitely harder than SC IV (which is by far my favorite CV ever!) but SC IV has smoother controls, better level designs, & cooler music. I’ve never played “Rondo of Blood” but have heard great things, this one is supposedly inferior but i still think it’s decent.

  11. No, Dawn of Sorrow looks alot like this.

  12. CASTLEVANIA FTW ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  13. Wow this looks alot like dawn of sorrow for DS

  14. why is this game so much money. i mean i want it but dang cheapest i saw it for was $65

  15. GamingShadow01

    release this on the VC!!!!!!!

  16. excellent rating.i utterly detest the medusa’s and red skulls as well, and wasn’t the biggest fan of richters costume idea.i think they beefed it up though in symphony of night.though the game was excellent and probably one of the best castlevania games i still think, however, that rondo of blood for the pc engine was still better.

  17. looks to me more like Chun Lee

Nice video. I have been collecting for awhile and have just now have decided to start collecting for the SNES. The SNES was the first system I fell in love with. It was the first, last system that I played with my parents alot when I was a kid and will always have a special place in my collection and heart. I guess now that I am older and am going to college I am starting to apreciate and miss those days when I was younger and played games and had fun with my parents I will charish those times.

levels 1 and 2 in Dracula X are holy fuck amazing, maybe because of the music.

  20. Damn u gotta be a bitch to not like this game.

  21. hornetpalooza

I remember thinking this game looked awesome, but Super Castlevania IV had a lot more going on and the music set the standard for all future in the series.

  22. According to some sources the development team was going to make Dracula X for the SNES a port of the PC Engine version (with lower quality graphics to run on the SNES). However issues with NEC (a co-developer on the PC Engine) meant Konami had to create a whole new game for the SNES (though a lot of the art and story remain the same between both games). This also makes me wonder if Hudson Soft was planning on releasing Rondo of Blood on the TurboGrafx-16.

  23. dude when the medusa heads come if you cant hit and you need to make the jump just use a super move

  24. Im not saying this game is better than Rondo of Blood. But the people who say this is a shit game are lame.

  25. that rocked.

  26. @tidmouthmilk12 NES carts are taller and shaped more like true squares except for rectangular divots on the bottom. SNES carts are shorter, more rectangular and have two ridges on the front bottom. Trust me, I grew up with these systems…
You fail in your cart identification test. Turn in your Nostalgic Gamers Card at the desk.

  27. if the fan doesn’t do anything, why don’t you just microwave it?!

  28. NBA Live 95 sucks

  29. Made in Japan, Destroyed in America.

  30. The cameraman in this is so much more annoying than the recent ones.

  31. @tidmouthmilk12
it’s a american cart euro and japanese carts had more rounded edges

  32. tidmouthmilk12

Unless they are different types in that case ignore my comment

  33. tidmouthmilk12

that’s an NES cartridge not a SNES.
trust me I know I have a fully operational SNES games console in my room and a NES in my lounge (or living room in America)

  48. I really wish you wouldent ruin a perfectly good snes game but more importantly they also contain lead and murcury. I like the show but i mean seriously. You want to be more carefull about breathing in that stuff.

  49. Trancemaster2052
