    I think he says “get the pass”
    and it looks like its a mini version of ‘gradius’ that you play during intermission
    awesome game, and as always great review!

    I’m sticking with the annoucer saying “flip the pass”. Sadly I have more fun with this hockey game than I do with today’s ice hockey videogames.

    FUCK YOU. you’re an ass. compare to nhl10 … blades of steel so much more user use than nhl, nhl10 is just crap which makes people angry

    It’s too bad Winnipeg isn’t there either.

    I’ve been playing the fuck out of this game latley and it’s still as much fun now as it was back then!!

    Just introduced my cousin to this game couple days ago. He told me he woke up the next day still thinking about it. Haha. Maybe the best sports game of the nes. Definately worth a try if you haven’t played it.

    I LOVE this game. It is so freaking good I have spent hours and hours playing two player. This is easily my top 5 favorite game on the nes. What other hockey game can you just beat the crap out of the other player in a fight without going to a new screen. If the other player isn’t paying total attention, and you get into a fight, you can just punch his ass out right there, which is my favorite. Also, controlling the goalie is fun, although I hate when they keep getting the rebound…

    I’m playing old school Blades right now on my Wii.
    I always thought it was either “Take the Pass” or ‘Make the Pass” or “Makes a Pass”. Still haven’t decided after all these years. ;)
