I loved this game but never beat it without a game genie and to note was the only game stolen from me. I bought it years later and still enjoy it.
i couldn’t even get past level one! at least with ghosts n goblins i got past level one.
This game is FAR harder then IWBTG or Dragon’s Lair. Dragon’s Lair can be won on by trial and error. That won’t do shit in this game.

This game always reminded me of the movie Crocodile Dundee.
Dragon’s Lair isn’t that hard once you learn the patterns. The game is all about trial and error and if you have the patience to figure the stages out – it’s really simple… and boring. I don’t advise for it. This game has no real pattern, you just have to abuse the fuck out of the game system. Watch a speed run or something and you’ll get it.
How’s this as hard as Dragons Lair for NES?
BattleToads is more difficult than this game.

I used to beat it a lot when i was a kid but it took me a loooong time to do it though. unitl i got the whip the whip is pwnage
it doesnt actually shoot anythin not even light, the ligth comes from the tv, the zapper only has a camera built in to detect if youre poinitng it right.

safe harmless light? i thought you can get blinded by looking into it while firing during a game…

I used to do the gun spinning thing as a little kid. You can do it if you use enough force! If I could by chance complete the spin, I’d then proceed to blow in the end of it, as if any kind of explosion happened in the gun.

actually, it doesn’t shoot anything. when you pull the trigger the screen goes black for a split second. the targets become white squares and the zapper picks up the light made from them. then it sends it to the nes and then it kills the ducks for you ^3^

idk, I never had an NES, I always had a Family Computer (the first version of the NES, the japanese one) and it didnt came with a Zapper, it came with a Colt Single Action Army light gun and a backup Glock18 light gun =P
